  1. Cool, thanks (Around Time Square, probably). I reckon i'll try contacting the hotel closer to the time and see if they can receive and hold the package for me. Failing that, I might contact you
  2. Thanks Joseph - That was my next port of call. I dare say TK boots aren't stocked in most stores
  3. So the missus has decided that we're going for a trip to New York in November. I was going to order some TK boots and get them sent here but by the time shipping and customs have been added, I'm looking at £130+...! Just wondering how readily available they are in New York city?
  4. Extreme Racing one piece is what I use. It's easy enough to sew elastics in, for foot and thumb loops. Can't see much added value for the extra cost tbh?
  5. Only thing I found to stick velcro to foam, was Stelmax 1985.
  6. I enjoyed it better on the second viewing. I think I was trying to concentrate too much on the storyline and working out what some of the characters were saying! Can't wait for the blu-ray to be launched. Mind you, I DO still have some tickets after 'trooping at my local cinema
  7. That looks great, mate - Good luck
  8. Pics would be great Will I PM you email addy?
  9. Ok, so I've started rough-trimming, removing structural supports, etc. How are the limb parts put together? Did you glue them all front and back?
  10. This one... post #192 particularly.http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/37102-rotj-reinforcement-for-austria-the-empire/page-10
  11. I've said it before, but this is remarkable. I have a 4ft Battle Buddy in the garage, awaiting deconstruction
  12. Just to get an idea of the fit. I'm 6ft, and kinda at the upper end of the height level, before extended shins are required. I have a pair of extended shins already from Ross, as they colour-match with my SDS kit. Haven't trooped with them yet, though, as I still need to trim here and there.
  13. Great build Is that acrylic capped or standard ABS? Do you mind if I ask how tall you are?
  14. There was a ROTJ build recently, where the builder made an amazing job on the eyes... check out over in the ROTJ builds section.
  15. Oh wow! Never even noticed the lack of a scroll!
  16. Loved it. There were a few places where I think things could have been done better... some of the CGI etc, but overall, great. And if I was a 10 year old boy again, I'd be hooked And Vader is badass
  17. Inside my helmet, I used cheap kitchen scouring sponge pads (yes, really!). The rough scouring part sticks to the hook side of velcro. And they're inexpensively replaced
  18. Hmm... Try this: http://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=28538&hilit=tk+loop
  19. Yeh, if you have a slim frame, the belt will pull the bottom of the ab plate in at the bottom, leaving the top wider. Some padding might help around the lower part?
