TK15245 requesting ANH Stunt EIB status [SDS] [653]
Pretzel replied to Oki's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Nice set of armor! Someone should be with you soon. The only thing I am not seeing (could be my monitor) are the 3 buttons on the belt. Everything else looks good. But, I would wait and allow the true experts way in. Hang in there. -
Anovos ANH Thigh Shim Help
Pretzel replied to Echnate's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hey Jake, Take a look at my build thread. I had to shim my thighs as well but used a different method that I found worked for me. But you are well on your way. short version is that I used apoxy putty, and sanded vigorously until smooth and the ends were even. I then used a spray paint and feathered it to make it blend with the ABS. It was a lot of work and got help from someone with a lot of experience in spray painting. I did not use ABS paste. I find it difficult to sand. Apoxy Putty is easier to work with (IMO) and then I used spray paint. But do what you think is best in your situation. Good Luck on the rest of your build. keep at it. -

Hi Kevin, Welcome to the FISD! I have seen and felt the ANOVOS kits, and they will definitely get you in the 501st if built correctly. You were wondering about different options. I highly recommend that you go and check out this forum: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/ It has great and valuable information! Good Luck!

Vexus's AP Build Thread. Road to the 501st
Pretzel replied to Pretzel's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Yup.. This one has to stick because my Garrison Mates dubbed me this nickname. I swear, I have to be done lol Might as well name me nameless. So.. Pretzel. The garrison calls me "Pretzel Christian" which is a play from my real name: "Preston Christman" so you can tell the similarities. this is the fault of one of the senior members and command staff there. We were at a big armor party and Jason (part of Command) yells... "PRETZEL CHRISTIAN!!! is HERE!!!" A lot of us busted out laughing, and. the name just stuck.. so I am going to have to roll with it. side note.. my girlfriend is now known as Honey Mustard. -
Vexus's AP Build Thread. Road to the 501st
Pretzel replied to Pretzel's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I forgot to respond! I have not gotten around to do any replacements on the TD yet.. But I am in the process of converting it to a HWT! But to answer your question pew, My "wife" --- girlfriend lol, got her "sweater" which is actually a cooking apron from walmart or spencers.. not sure where.. but I bet its on Amazon too! Jus tsearch Stormtrooper Apron! -
So.. though I like my forum name.. my Garrison has dubbed me a new nickname that stuck. Rather Original actually, and I like it.. lol My real name is Preston Christman. A guy in my garrison, Jason, has started calling me "Pretzel Christian" a play on my 1st and last name.. and Pretzel has stuck.. So, Let's change this name one last time to : Pretzel Thanks.. might as well change my name to "Nameless" soon lol Side note: my title is "Expert Infantyr" I am pretty sure this is misspelled? can this be changed to "Expert Infantry" Thanks!

Found your build thread here on FISD and was able to meet you in person over the weekend at Bash. This is a great thread! I think I will be referencing this soon, and perhaps start on my HWT journey Great work Trooper! -
I am in a similar position my friend. I too made the mistake of ordering the wrong size kit. I did not do enough research. I sure thought I did. RT is the kit you and I should have chosen. I made my AP kit work the best I could. I bent those bells, and shimmed those thighs.. I did manage to obtain EIB, but it will be impossible to obtain level 3 until I get an RT kit and start over or at least get separate parts. Good Luck, and look up RT Mod. That is who you want to go through for bigger parts.
