  1. I have only had it about 2 months. I guess I will try the PTT. Just seems like the less wires the better.
  2. So I have an Aker, Icomm, and have rigged up an elastic strap to hold the mic directly below my bottom lip. I have tried and tried to get better activation and just can't seem to get it to work right. The issue is the Icomm snaps in and out and provides the static burst while I am speaking. It seems the voice recognition just isn't great. Any one else have this issue or a solution. Any help is appreciated!
  3. The straps popped off while I was putting it on for the pics. Apparently I didn't give enough time for the glue to cure. They are in clamps now being reattached. They are glued on the chest with 5 bars on front. I think it appears that they are attached on the back because the elastic was all that was holding them on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. So looking for a little help finishing up. Any constructive feedback welcome. Overall for my first time doing anything like this I have been very pleased. Look forward to hearing what you all have to say. Front: Back: Left Side: Right:
  5. So I am starting to work on strapping. I will be doing the "troop" friendly snaps and strap that I have seen on here. I have noticed in the pics on build/centurion there are snaps on the butt and ab. Do you just drill through the armor and place the snap? Also on the internal strapping (chest to ab, kidney to ab) do you use nylon or elastic? I am sure there are instructions. It seems the more I look for one way to do it the more I get confused.
  6. So today I got all the arms separated. Shoulders are cut and sanded. I have both biceps cut, fit, and glued. They are sitting for the 24 hour E6000 wait. Forearms are cut and taped. Bicep Forearm how do you know how long the forearm should be? Just end at wrist?
  7. Like a little kid on Christmas when I saw this Seems that everyone else does this so I will as well.
  8. Well, here we go! Box arrived today and everything has been organized and workstation set up. This is my first build...of anything! I am challenged by two piece puzzles. I must say Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with. Armor was packaged professionally and little notes placed on some items to help in the build. Also arms/legs noted for R/L which I appreciate. I will post some pics later (that will be a whole other challenge), but for now am starting on shoulder bells. Wish me luck!
