  1. That would be great. I haven’t figured out how to do this yet.
  2. Thank you that link helps, but how would I get to that menu? Is it in my profile somewhere? How do I check what email was used for registering? In my profile there is just a list of unused fields like MSN, YAHOO, website. I am not seeing a way to check my email address is still valid.

  4. How does one enter an email address so that topics I am following send me an email? I looked in my profile but cannot seem to find where I enter or check my email address.
  5. As for the magnets themselves I believe I have the same type rare earth and sized magnets that Cricket used in her tutorial. Thanks Jared, I did rough up the glue side of the magnet as well as the plastic to give the glue something to adhere to. Great point Eric, I did not clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol which may be where my problem lies. Its quite possible I contaminated the glue or surface with oil from my fingers weakening the bond. As for sizing, I am pretty sure the holes are pushing against the magnets as I have to push the shins together when I put them o
  6. Has anyone had success with a particular glue on the magnetic shin closures? I followed Crickets build here : However the issue I am running into is the glue on the outer magnets fails after one or 2 uses. When I say the outer magnets I mean the ones that are not held in the ABS pockets on the inside of the shin. I think the inner magnets hold well because they are basically surrounded by glue whereas the outer magnets just have the one surface to hold them. I have tried Super Glue, E6000, and Gorilla Glue. The Gorilla Glue seemed to hold the longest but ultimately failed after 3 uses.
  7. WOW! Those parts are huge! How big is the person your fitting this to compared to you?
  8. I would hold the parts up to her and mark where you think the edges should be and then translate the edges back to your marks and start trimming. I don't envy you in this task, I have done it for a friends daughter and it was a nightmare of a job.
  9. Walt also does kid sized ESB snow trooper and AT-AT driver kits.
  10. There is one for free on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1469595
  11. I would like to point out the Dave’s assessment of my intention regarding enforcement of the CRL is incorrect. I simply wanted to know what the requirement is. I did my research and asked polite questions in an attempt to understand the issue which is quite clearly a grey area.
  12. I agree, it does look better when all the parts match in color. I would just like to know if it is a requirement for approval. None of the troopers in the original film had matching armor so it would be weird if it were a requirement.
  13. Is there a requirement for ANH stunt armor to be consistent in color? What I mean is the variation in tint that you see in different runs of white ABS plastic. I have read the CRL and done a few searches but have not been able to find anything.
  14. I wonder how many people are like me and don't have a set of armor from a single vendor. I have what I lovingly call a Franken suit. I originally had a complete yet old FX kit, purchased from Ebay (yeah I know cardinal sin). In order to pass muster I had to replace pieces, chief among those the bucket. Also over the years a few pieces have been damaged and replaced, now my kit looks like this: Helmet - T/MC Chest - Custom made Back (011) - FX Shoulders - Unknown Biceps - FX Forearm - FX Abdomen - FX Kidney and Butt - FX Thighs - RT-Mod - previously
  15. Ouch! Looks fantastic tho. Nice work you can be proud of a job well done.
