  1. Fantastic work there! If you hadn't shown the pictures of the process I would not have known you modded it. Keep it up! I am loving this stuff.
  2. You can totally fix the screws permanently! I just used some glue in the threads of the screws to secure them. For a better looking blaster I would recommend painting the various parts separately and then attaching them. When I built my first blaster I painted after I had assembled it and it was tough getting paint into some crevices. Good luck on the build, this is going to be a great build!
  3. That is really odd... On my original Sterling there is no hole there.. I personally would fill it.
  4. Looking good. I like how you attached the power cylinders; I am working on a real sterling and want to keep it original as possible, but also dress it up as a E-11. I think I'll copy your trick.
  5. Super! These mods look great! Keep up the great work!
  6. Congratulations to all of you! I am excited to see the updated CRLs!
  7. I was just recreating the cover to the user handbook for the Sterling and I thought this would be fun! I am not finished yet. As you can see the sterling needs scope, t-tracks and so forth. But I though y'all would like to see it.
  8. Wow! He does make a good looking kit. Will be following.
  9. Hey Dave! I know what you mean about being nervous. I think it would help if you posted pictures of your armor as they are right now. Depending on your size will depend on how much you need to trim. The goal here is not specifically measurement, but how the armor fits you. Others here correct me if I am wrong.
  10. Sort of. Two of the costumes are in the Jolly Rogers Squadron: Gideon Hask and Commander Iden Versio And one is in the Spec Ops Detachment: Del Meeko I don't know why they are separated... But hey, that's how it is.
  11. Got mine a while back too.
  12. Hey Eelco! It is good to have you here with us! Very nice work on a First Order heavy blaster. You might want to put your build log in this forum focusing on these types of weapons: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/157-tfa-f-11d-pistol-and-other-weapons/ Also maybe introduce yourself here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/5-new-member-introductions/ Glad to have you and good luck!
  13. Still wondering why no return edges? Yeah, that is something a lot of us asked when building our first suit. The simple answer is that the armor seen on screen had no return edge. Here are some examples: Link to gallery: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/24-anh-tk-reference/ And I found that most things like this no one will notice besides other troopers. Whether you have an edge or not in the end is up to you. You can always come back later and trim it. With that said, I am a fan of no trim. Hope this helps.
  14. I used tin snips for trimming. Where exactly are the rounded edges you speak of? I usually just used tin snips or razor blade. If the cut wasn't ideal I usually sanded it smooth.
  15. Thank you Chris! I unintentionally got carried away, so thanks for stepping in.
  16. Here is the E6000 one I ordered. No poster of the Periodic Table either.
  17. Yeah, I am disappointed in their range of printing, especially since they offer 6XL.
  18. "Ok, unfortunately that seems to be the largest it would print since the shirt size is an XL, the model mock up is showing on a size Medium item. We can process a store credit for the item or refund." This is what they said. So if you want you can get a refund or store credit...
  19. Too bad. I have one on the way too. Thanks for the update. [Edit] Right now I am seeing if they can send you a bigger print on the T-shirt. I'll let you know what they say.
  20. I took a look at the design and Spreadshirt has the image automatically at 90%, so I raised it to 100%.
  21. Dang it. That was one of my worries that the small text wouldn't be readable. I'll reach out to the folks at Spreadshirt to see if they can print larger. How did the poster turn out?
  22. Okay folks. This has started me down a path I didn't think I would be on, but it is fun! Here are the two newest designs!
  23. I found the code! Here it is.
  24. Okay, I just ordered a shirt and a poster. I will post pics to show how they turned out.
