1. I installed the lenses of a gas mask (a leftover from my military career) into my bucket. ------------
 2. Hi Shawn,

Good work!

If you please edit your initial post and post the new pictures there, it will be a great help for Sly and Tony to review your request.

Cheers Christian
 3. That's great news! Congratulations Andrew! Your armor is looking awesome.
Are you going for EIB?
 4. Herzlichen Glückwunsch Kai!
Your armor is looking awesome!
A question about your action shoot in the water: Did you wear your TK-Boots during the shoot??
Best regards
Christian
 5. Hi Shawn,

Good work. That's looking much better! I like that you also filled the hole with ABS paste!

A split rivet instead the pop rivet would look nicer but I guess it will do the job.
 6. Well the CLR for level 2 don't mention the rivets at all. "For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed." But I agree with you: the DO's have the last word here!
 7. Hi Sarah,
you made an awesome job with your Armor!
Cheers
Christian
 8. Ah, ok... I never checked the Schocktrooper CRL to be honest.
But perhaps a third level will follow.
 9. Congratulations Mark!
First EIB Shocktrooper! How cool is that?! :D
I wonder who will be the first Centurion Shocktrooper.
 10. Congrats Sean.
Great work! I'm looking forward too your Centurion application.
 11. Hi Shawn, I'm always happy to help. And the fitting of your armor is so much better now! One more thing: The snaps of your Posterior Armor are looking like one male and one female. The CLR say two male snaps have to be there. If they are both male it might help your application if you post a picture showing the inside of the Posterior Armor. All the best! Christian
 12. Congratulations Carlos! Great work! I know the problem with soft elastic at the shoulder bells. Fixed mine the same way!
 13. Hi Paul, I tried to order replacement parts once from Anovos. (I damaged my bucket myself). They made two offers: 1: Destroying it and sending pics of the remains to get a new helmet. 2: 10% discount of the armor. I tried to tell them twice that I was going to buy replacement parts... finally took the money and repaired the helmet. About the cracks in the helmet: the area around the Mic Tips ist veeery thin and delicate. I reinforced it with E6000 to prevent cracking. Finally I would say the Anovos armor is looking great and was easy to build. I never regret buying it. I don't think it is more easily damaged as the ones from other vendors. If you like shiny armor look after TM. It is way more shiny than the Anovos. A squadmate has one and it is absolutely beautiful! I already started saving. Cheers Christian
 14. I checked several EIB request threads but found no 3 piece helmets yet. But the CLR don't say anything against it so it should be no issue.
 15. Hi Ted Did you glue the back of the things first? I would recommend to start with the front and do the back after a last fitting. If you have to correct something after this last fitting it is easily concealed and you have a perfect front. Make sure to check the advanced tactics area of the board. Building the armor from the start to Centurion standard much easier then modifying it later. And it is not that difficult. Enjoy your build and good luck! Christian
 16. Hi Jon, welcome to the FISD! Great project you started! I will follow your work. I love these blaster builds! Cheers Christian
 17. Hi Lance, congrats for your kit! Enjoy the building process. The Anovos Armor is very good to work with.
I like how you improved your Blaster! Good work!

Cheers
Christian
 18. Hi Shawn, Your armor is looking cool but I spotted some things you should look after though. The first thing I saw was the decal with your TK Number at the left shoulder. It's looking cool but it shouldn't be there. The next point is the gap between Ab and Chest. The Chest should overlap the Ab. The Gap between Kidney and Back armor is a bit to big. It seems the whole lower armor is sitting too low. Maybe an issue of the pic but perhaps you can try to shorten the strapping at the back and install longer elastic at the front to allow the Chest to slide over the Ab. The connection between Abdomen and Kidney armor is made in a way I never seen before. I'm not sure if it is EIB compatible. The Helmet is looking very good but I'm unsure about the gap between the top of your helmet and the rear piece. I heard of Helmets made of three parts but are they good for Level 2 and above? I think I have to read some AP-builds to check that out. I wish you all the best and good luck with your approval! Christian
 19. When I made the legs fit I buckled em on and walked around. Then I removed material where it was biting me. The first I removed was the return edge at the back of the shins and thighs. That will help a lot! But wear your boots as well as the Posterior and Abdomen armor to keep the overall look in sight. Better cut less more often than to much at a time. Start with the shins until you can walk comfortable and add the things after finishing them. For the things I recommend to build a belt to hold them. Then you can wear them without the Ab-Armor and the adjustment of the fit is more comfortable. You can check my build to see how I made mine. Cheers Christian
 20. Hi Kev, great kit you are building! Looking at pictures like yours makes me sad because I have no armor to build myself at the moment. According the question about the frown: I would open the two central teeth a veeery little more. Mainly at the top and bottom using needle files. All the best for your build! Cheers Christian
