Moin Trooper! Welcome to the ranks!
-
Hi Steven, congratulations to your armor! From here I don’t see a point against a successful approval. For the next level(s): The only point i actually can spot is that there are no elastic bands at the shoulder stripes. The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. For the problem with the forearms: I installed a black elastic strapping on the inside between the forearms and the biceps. That prevents twisting. Great work trooper! Cheers Christian

Hello and welcome to the FISD! As Syl said, building an armor is not that hard as you may think. Research is the key, asking questions and doing patiently one step after the other. At the end of your journey there is a great armor you can be proud of.

Hello Kristin and welcome to the FISD! Have a look into the boards and you will find what you are looking for. If not don’t hesitate to ask whatever question you have. Don’t be afraid of building or modifying your armor. You need only a few simple tools to do this. Cheers Christian -

Hi Vin, as far as I know, there are no exact measures for the TD screws. I always place them matching to the reference pictures. Cheers Christian

Good morning Paul, I’ve checked the last two ROTJ Centurion applications and there are no pictures of rivets at the kidney plate. The last ROTJ-TK was approved January 2018... I didn’t find a post about CRL changes regarding this point. Maybe Tony or Sly can tell about this point? Edit: There was a question about the kidney rivets on October 26 last year. There was no reference found during the discussion. Cheers Christian

I‘m trooping with a Hyperfirm rubber E11 and wouldn’t change it... well perhaps against a Praetorian Blaster... but only because the better detail. Rubber is my favorite for trooping because I don’t have to care about damaging the thing. If you want electronics in your Blaster, resin is the way to go. There you have the space for the parts and the weight is good for trooping.

Bradley's ANH Stunt Build [Anovos]
Novak Dimon replied to AngryEwok's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hi Bradley, you can move the strapping closer to the outer border to correct the shape of the buttplate. Alternative you can correct the shape with a warm water bath. I favour the first solution. Cheers Christian -
The knee is looking absolutely great!
