  1. The advantage is Pride in your costume to take it to the top. From your photo's you could apply. Lose the holster though. Your not allowed holsters. Keep that for just the fun troops. Sent from my LGMS631 using Tapatalk
  2. Congratulations! Great to see another HWT come in! So....... Where's your EIB thread Have fun out there!
  3. Congratulations on your approval!
  4. You'll be amazed how looked over your armor gets at troops. Not everyday people see a TK up close. You're doing a good job so far but I have to agree with Glen on his recommendation. Atleast to your left thigh if you haven't cut it off. Honestly I don't recall seeing anyone do this. Keep in mind also that that return edge keeps bottom stiff. The ammo pack covers up right side so that one isn't seen. Return edges aren't required for approval. Some spots you don't want them some spots you do. The edge is there just to give some thickness and help sell it's armor. Even though one shot and we're done. Looking foward to seeing you progress in making the best suit you'll ever wear!
  5. Wait till final fitting before trimming anything.
  6. Congratulations and Welcome Trooper
  7. Congratulations!
  8. Good Luck Garrett Like Joseph said, it's not a sprint. Looking at a pile like that can be intimidating. Break it down into small projects and it's not so bad. Finish one then move on to next. Before you know it you'll have a great suit of armor. Aim big! We'll help you get there! Good Luck Future Trooper!
  9. Congratulations! Looking sharp!
  10. Good Luck David You'll be serving the Empire soon Trooper!
  11. Congratulations! Hope to see you go for Centurion!
  12. Looking good. You probably won't see those reflective spots being hidden by chest. Getting there
  13. Get some temporary weathering on that suit. You don't want to be the new guy Looking good and have fun out there!
  14. With a quick look I agree about cloth belt. It looks wide to me. It shouldn't be showing behind plastic belt. Dead giveaway there. Others have pointed out things I won't repeat. I would suggest you pull ab up some. It's trying to pop out from under chest. As Darthaloha says " hike it up to almost soprano" maybe paraphrasing a little. Bummer you used Zap a gap! That makes fixes extremely tough. Good Luck Future Trooper!
  15. Great pictures! Yeah, it ain't easy being a Heavy! Movement is somewhat limited depending how your set up is. For me I have pouch on pauldron so no limit there for me. I trooped with it on strap a few times before I switched. The pouch limited my arm movement and I didn't like it. As for suiting up. I don't think it can be done solo. I could never get my arms in straps without colorful language. I have a friend hold pack at the right spot and slip arms in easy. Your pretty much there now! A little pre congrats!!
  16. Great to hear your doing a practice troop with it already! I agree with Tony. Get some felt on that pack so you dont rough up your back plate. This one troop shouldn't do to much scratching. Oh and watch out for doorways now. And fellow troopers when turning. And now to sound lile your mother "Get some nice pictures" We love pictures! Good Luck!!
  17. That should work for you. Just keep the openings up near the top of pack so you dont put pressure on your shoulder straps to much. I'd recommend a strap connection in between the two that holds them together. Mine is hidden behind my chest plate. I click in and a wrangler pulls slack till snug. Pack goes no where. Nice and tight. You are so close now! Can't wait to see your pre approval photo's
