  1. Since I'm stuck inside because #corona, I decided to follow this tutorial and make one of a belt for the ANH Stunt. Now I can swap out my belts easy! A few addition from my learning this afternoon: Drilling the center of the snap really wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. I had to do it slowly, for what it's worth. I wish I had a more stable way to secure the snap. Have the right sized pop rivet! I was struggling for a bit fitting the rivet through the snap that I drilled w/ the 3/16" drill bit. Turns out I grabbed the wrong rivets. Doh! Fixed that and it was easy sailing. I did have to take a snap setting tool and smack the interior a few times. This is a visualization of "step 2" from Brien's instruction above - "placing your snap on the inside of the belt facing armor and push a pop rivet through the opposite side" Thank you, Brien!
  2. Technically, SE-14R has been an option for ANH Hero for a while now
  3. Hello there! Like others have said before, the place to go for Sandtrooper resources is the MEPD forum. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php The builds are of course similar, and I've seen people doing their build threads both here and there, so starting a build thread on here is probably a good idea. For all tips on weathering though (and the Move Along Captain is so iconic!), def hit up the MEPD forum. Also, there are no Centurions with MEPD - level 3 equivalent is SWAT where you emulate an on screen trooper (like what you want to do!). Good luck with the build! It'll be loads of fun.
  4. Thank you for the update! Excited to see the progress. How was the experience pulling the helmet together?
  5. Looks like you might want to request detachment access here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  6. You can find Paul here https://www.facebook.com/TMProps/. He's often on the board as well (@troopermaster)
  7. Love the historical context!
  8. Jessy - feel free to give me a ping, I can connect you w/ the folks in TW as well if you are planning on visiting! Just hung out with them a few months back
  9. This might be of interest to you. I did a bit of research on this a few months back, too, and had this bookmarked: http://www.blizzardforce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=3290&p=24947&hilit=Blaster+difference#p24947

  15. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
  16. Looks like a Hero! 4 fasteners. Holsters should be in the left for ANH, so that looks right? (Ha, play on words).
  17. It happens! Lots of information here and we are always here to help!
  18. Per the CRL, for basic approval for Hero you are ok with flat lenses: https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_hero If you are going for EIB or Centurion (which you should!), you're going to need bubble ones. I believe there are a few threads on the forum as to where to acquire them!
  19. Yeah, make sure you do this first https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/19-request-expert-infantryman-status/
  20. Awesome spreadsheet! Small edit - I think you have the holster requirement flipped for Stunt and Hero - should be the other way around (more fasteners for Hero)
  21. Thanks Jeff! Special shoutout to @troopermasterfor the awesome armor!
  22. Awesome. Thank you so much!!
  23. Thank you very much! 1. Eric 2. Ho 3. 77520 4. Centurion 5. Letter 6. Andrew It's about time, Eric! lol http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/77520-centurion.png
  24. @ Andrew - updated the photo in the above. It's about as close as I can get this morning! @ Dan - thanks for the call-out, updated in the above. @ Joseph - I know! I actually already received some screws from you. Gotta paint them and get them installed when I have some time. @ Shane - thanks! @ Greg - I will take a look when I get home tonight, hadn't seen that from the CRL ... might not be an easy fix, but I will take a look!
  25. While waiting for review, was looking over at other approved postings and realized I didn't include a picture of the forearm showing no return edge in the front, so I have updated the original post with picture of the forearm!
