Jen, you look GREAT!!! I agree with Jenny, I wouldn't worry about the ab/kidney peaking out from under your arm. You may want to raise your shoulder bells closer to the shoulder bridge and bring them forward a little. They seem to look like they droop down. The rear of the shoulder bridge should rest on top of the back plate, they look like they are going underneath it. Regarding your thighs, if they seem to low and too big, trying shortening the straps so they are raised higher before you start cutting or doing anything permanent. Not sure what to say about your helmet resting on your chest plate other than to keep your head up Awesome job!

Congratulations on your approval! -
Excellent work, Steve! Have you ever thought of creating a template troopers could use to trace the trim lines if they wanted to reshape their thighs?

I had the same issue and pretty much did the same thing Jen did. -

Jenny, your armor looks great! -
I'm 5' 11" and it fits me fine.

Carefully and slowly insert a flat head screwdriver between the cover strip and bicep and gently pry the cover strip off. Only pry apart a little at a time, being careful not to damage the bicep. You could also work a knife or X-Acto blade in there too to "cut" the E6000. I've had to do it a few times myself. Just take your time and be careful. Once the cover strip is off, simply rub the E6000 off until it's removed. You could also use either sandpaper or a magic (pencil) eraser. Good luck!

NE TrooperGear ANH Stunt Build (First Build)

Use the indentations for the ear screws as a guide only. What you could do (and there are many ways of doing this. Read some other build threads for ideas), position the face plate where you want to mount it on the helmet and tape, clamp it in place. Drill a single hole in the center of the top 3 indentations and use a nut and bolt to hold the face plate to the helmet. Make sure everything is aligned and looks the way you want it to. I also added a screw lower down to tighten up this area. Once you're happy with how the face and bucket are joined together, you can mount the ears. Drill the holes in the indentations in the ears, place them on the helmet and insert a thin pencil into the holes and mark the helmet. Remove the ears and drill your mounting holes. Make sense? Regarding your other questions: Question 12: I put them on in this order: Thighs and belt, boots, calves, body (chest, back, abs, kidney, and butt all snapped together), belt with TD attached and then shoulder, biceps and forearms, all attached together, and finally gloves and then helmet. Question 13: yes Question 14: replacement/patch screen for a screen door. Question 15: Yes -
You look great! Congratulations and welcome!

My biceps suffer from the same issue but it's not the shape of the biceps that's the problem. I just made mine too tight. Without actually seeing them on you, that might be the problem here as well. Is the pinching caused by armor bites (skin caught between the bicep and forearm)? If so, remove s little from the bottom of the bicep and inside of the forearm where they pinch. If they are too small, you can remove the inside cover strips and make them bigger. Use some ABS paste and fill in the seam and then sand, bondo and paint. But, you could also try a hot water bath and try to reshape them first. too. I know, so many decisions

I used #6 screws, washers and nuts pretty much everywhere. I tried to avoid anything permanent. Commitment issues, I guess

A Dremel, curved scissors and a bottle opener are my favorite ones.

If you've never used a heat gun before, use boiling water first. Heat guns can get away from you real quick. If you must use a heat gun, use the low setting and be careful! For return edges, use a sealing iron, NOT a heat gun.
