  1. Question 5 - if there is too much room, angle cut. I had to. Question 6 - trim at the wrist.
  2. Jayson, On my NE, there were no ridges on the forearms either, all smooth plastic. It made it a little more challenging but still doable. Here's how I handled mine if you're interested: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29634-mutters-ne-anh-stunt-build
  3. Looking good! You threw me off with the pics of you wearing the ab plate and belt. I thought the holster was on your right until I realized it was taken in a mirror. Doh! A great piece of advice I was given on my build was to fit the ab/cod plate first since it has the least amount of adjustments. Then match the kidney plate to the ab plate, followed by the butt plate, then back and finally the chest. Just my 2cents. And the weathering on your scope looks great!
  4. Based on your results, I ordered mine April 6. Haven't heard anything from them yet.
  5. Congratulations!
  6. Am I the only one who thought "HWT backpack and portable AC unit"? Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread
  7. Andrew, your bucket looks great! Really nice job. It seems like the TD is a bit long. Not sure if you are aware, but there's some trimming you'll need to do on your chest and kidney plates. This was pointed out to me when I did my build too. The red areas should be removed. There's a similar piece on the butt plate sides too.
  8. The helmet is looking good! Definitely trim the teeth more.
  9. I'm 5' 10" @ 210lbs and it fit fine me without shims. Good luck on the build!
  10. I hope they can publish their build threads now. I want to see how this thing was put together!
  11. Not to go too off topic, but did anyone notice the insinuation that Darth Vader is still alive? "The force is strong in my family. My father has it, I have it. My sister has it..." Shouldn't Luke have said, "The force is strong in my family. My father had it, I have it. My sister has it..."?
  12. Why would that be too small? That's the size it should be. There should be no white space/raised ridge on either side. Are the biceps too small for you arms?
  13. The oil pan I got was from Bavarian Auto, 9 quart size, about $10 http://www.bavauto.com/lview.asp?imgfile=assets/imglib500/601_IMG01.jpg
  14. Phil, probably every member has walked in those very same shoes. It seems daunting at first but if you take your time, research and do a little at a time, you'll been done before you know it. Go ahead and ask lots of questions, there are a ton of Troopers who love to help. Good luck!
  15. Nice write-up and great progress so far! My only suggestion is that you could probably expand the gray area on your traps. There really shouldn't be any white border around the edges. And they never sleep. At least not until they become teenagers. Then they never stop sleeping!
  16. Your helmet looks great! Looking forward to the rest of the build!
  17. I agree with Scott. Top and bottom look good. Middle one looks like it can be positioned a little better.
  18. I found it better to score on the back (non shiny side) of the ABS. This way if the knife does slips, it's on the back side and no one sees it.
  19. I believe the stripes ranged on the originals from 10-13. Trying to find the post to confirm. The ear bar towards the rear of the helmet should be painted.
  20. If you used Testors paint, they sell a paint thinner that will remove the paint and won't harm the plastic. Comes in those little glass bottles.
  21. Mike, that top rivet should be about 10-15mm from the top edge. Your bottom rivet could be lower. Stick the middle rivet, well, in the middle.
