  1. looks like an easy pass. where's the green helmet lens pic? I can barely see the D ring, but it's there. what about your rivet details? do you have the left side snap back on the AB plate? looks great in that lighting@!
  2. I think it's interesting that the folding stock has a sliding lock on the front. the front catch slides along a track, and the plunger style head moves the stock lock back and forth. as you swivel the locking plate the bar actually floats free on this springsteel part. the shoulder cap and folding stock are worth the 125 totally! (I think the stock itself is a very complex setup.) much different than I've seen on any scratchbuild.) and that the rear cap is spring loaded to lock it. hollow and notched to rotate onto the barrel rear. the barrel rear and removable end cap rear sight and rear lock have never been cast in resin that I've seen. the trigger group accesses the bolt catch a lot farther back than I figured. now I believe it's my trooper duty to make copies of everything!
  3. good choice my friend! for 125 you can get the parts kit from APEX. be careful of BATF rules when assembling one of these.
  4. I think it's great that somebody might have thought that I'd actually put this on a hasbro.
  5. looks like you're a happy trooper. you have that look of "oh yeah. I'm the man... yeah... that's right... you said it. and I know it..." with that kind of confidence, and the patience to wait for the right ring it looks like you'll be having a few of your own little troopers in no time...
  6. showoff! wonderful. now do I send you the APEX parts kit now? or later?
  7. and I have ewoks for sale. real ewoks... I promise.
  8. I have the plans from the dude on ebay. and he said this would totally bolt onto a hasbro toy.
  9. but this was a cheap kit on ebay and they said that it was for a hasbro E-11?
  10. I hear somthing, but it sounds like a grinder...
  11. but somebody told me that this would fit on a hasbro blaster?
  12. nuff said. now how am I gonna put this on my hasbro? is this supposed to bolt onto the plastic toy?
  13. model 400 is indeed metal. the case, the body are all brass. the cap covering the numbers is plastic. grey plastic.
  14. that is the luke handplate, from the garbage compactor scene where he's talking to 3p0. his hands are smaller, and don't really make the handplate flex that much because his gloves are a size too large.
  15. everything in star wars should be weathered. only non weathered armor I've ever seen is usually on the DS 1 and DS 2. where the troops are elite, but bored.
  16. perhaps that's why he made them larger. the thing with paul is that he takes criticism, and acts upon it. changing his moulds, and perfecting, and perfecting... some of the helmet mouldings I've seen for hero helmets for example photographically seem to just jump off the page. I really want a hero helmet now... and TM is probably going to be my next goal for a hero design.
  17. the badge helmet is classic late 70's early 80's 'thinking' we always used to stick buttons and stickers and patches over holes in anything. was our way of making junk 'cool' again.
  18. very very nice! man... that holster looks good... wonder where that came from? tee hee... nice attention to fitting and assembly! I like the way you cut your thighs. the 3d effect of putting the finishing strip just a tad thinner than the overlaps is very accurate. I personally believe that the original suits had this type of trimming. and the more I look at the AP forearms, and the way he modded them your trimout looks really good. I'd say that you need some bicep elastic for your shoulder bells and biceps. along with the "han solo" hook
  19. I need my ESB e-11 fix!~
  20. from the shadows of the past, into the light of day goes the 501st only armor listing! woo hoo... open forum! yeah baby yeah! parts line up just fine on the AP kit. "a perfect build" does not exist.
  21. get well fast!~ lord vader was wondering what happened to you... seriously... I had my share of motorcycle incidents... motocross and all that... flipping off a bike going 50... stuff like that. one time I remember getting my head stuck in the wheel well of a car. this woman stopped right in front of me and my head went into the wheel well. needless to say I was unhurt, but the lady almost drove away. she didn't even feel me hit her car. a passerby saved my life. stopped her car. he was walking down the street. I can't say I know exactly how you're feeling... but I have not really wanted to ride a bike much in the last few years.
