  1. interesting design, just so you know, the TM 2 pattern looks exactly like the screen grab. I think the angle design shown here is cool, but the look that you get with the more standard design can also aproximate your screen grab.
  2. k now tell me what kind of hovies and lenses in each bucket
  3. cmon people, show off your own collections in this thread!
  4. I'd be wanting all the bleach out. just imagine your face/hair when you bleach your head inside a hot and sweaty bucket! my lid fills up with water when I wear mine!
  5. the mrce is a total hero mod. filled and completely painted, bubble lens and 3 bump modified ears.
  6. here's a little test. from top to bottom list the helmet makes and models. --------- the sink airators are on helmets that go out to other troopers. they most likely will change them out.
  7. sweet! you look so imperial...
  8. blasters for sale 150 esb 180 anh plus ship -- 65 domestic 75 world for a leather holster shipped

  9. in fitting an ANH butt join, you cut off both halves of the overlap so that they meet in the middle. when fitting just cut off enough overlap so that it fits your body, but not too tight. you need to be able to move! when the overlaps are cut evenly and balanced then with the finishing strip top it off! it can also be a little easier if you put a small strip inside to help keep it lined up. from the photo shown of your forearm part the top seems to have had a lot trimmed off and the lower portion still has quite a bit left on. the top part from your photo shows that you might have completely trimmed off the upper overlap, and now you're into the armor itself and trying to line it up? to get a balanced look you simply have to take the same amounts of overlap on each side this might explain why you're arms are not lining up the way you want. and the AM kit is not screen lineage so making shape adjustments to the overall to resemble screen used, such as boiling water and the like might make things more difficult than they need to be.
  10. it looks like you took a sharper angle near the trigger? is that where you modded the cut even more? looks really nice with that blaster sitting in it!!!
  11. I'd have to spray the heck out of a belt assembly and all my elastics with some kind of water repellant. leather, elastic and snaps just would wear out in wet conditions!
  12. wrap the blaster in shape with a T shirt and put it into the holster. this will help to keep it's shape and protect the blaster and holster when packing.
  13. if you follow the TM pattern for making the holster the cut of it provides a fold point that when sewn holds the holster open on it's own if the leather is thick enough. if you have thin leather then it does not hold itself open as well you should make the handle strap 12 inches long and put the male snap 1" from the tip. INSTEAD of at the end as shown, n.
  14. thanks rich for buying a holster from me. have any thoughts or photos to share?
  15. the photo on the card has been photoshopped to have a black frown. it's the gantry scene where luke shoots a trooper in Death Star 1. the orange smoke tells the story.
  16. just one more reason why I love this place!
  17. I'd personally go with the lightsaber and ditch the blaster and holster to be TKC.
  18. they are not accurate. they should be rubber gloves for ANH and silk gloves for ESB. the texture is nice and all, and they are gloves.... you can get the correct chemical gloves with textured fingertips at home depot domestically. the way to make rubber gloves comfortable is to wear silk gloves inside them. easy on, easy off, wicks away some moisture.
  19. what about the front? the eye line?
