  1. the eye bump is screen accurate, that's why it's there! you can minimise the bump by simply cutting out the eyes more than most people do. keep in mind you want a curved cut to match the contour of your lenses.
  2. you simply don't put the mesh in the frown, and wear a mask/baclava over your head.
  3. I have a pauldron in black, exactly for the purpose of re-creating the HWT look, but without the pack. it looks cool to have a BFG and a pauldron, makes the lineup look more varied!
  4. you could go with LED's as long as they have an off switch for cannon events.
  5. it has been established that the term is indeed Trooper Korps.
  6. I'd go with fullers earth. check out trooperbay for it. you can remove and add fullers earth at will. novus polish most likely will remove fullers earth if you kept it light.
  7. corey this costume is the TFU blue stormtoooper costume is what we're talking about here NOT the commander spoken to in episode 4?
  8. ah the worries of the MK2 kit!~
  9. are you going to make the rear part of the bolt?
  10. you can easy paint it with gunmetal color and install it.
  11. I'd go for it. you'll want to trim your shins shorter.
  12. recoil springs are gunmetal grey. looks good!
  13. the only confusion is that some of us who are going TKC followed this rendering initally. quite a few tkc helmets have this type of eye line. I'm going to follow your suggestion and use the angled line we've discussed before. the TKC thermal det that is featured in this thread is awesome!
  14. put the bells towards the front where they meet the shoulder, not in the middle. then attach elastic across the bell so that it holds the bicep tight. then attach elastic from bicep to bell vertically inside. if everything is in the proper location, then they will sit slightly forward and align with your bicep placement. the vertical strap helps hold everything horizontally, as well as keeping them up.
  15. it's ok here's a pepto bismol.
  16. thanks jimmy if anyone needs guidance on the hero luke I can lead you into the rebelion side of the luke format.
  17. need any help I'm here. PM me.
  18. I like how in the film you can see a trooper running down the hallway with his shins popping open and closed.
  19. well there is a complete difference on the eye line of the TKC helmet. from console to console I see variations. compare this rendering here: ---------- with this one, and you can plainly see that they are different! brother I personally believe that there is a lot of difference between the renders when you compare the felucia renders with the darker render. see how the eye line changes shape, location and scratch pattern? you say it's the same, but it clearly is not sir!~ there is no angle to the eye line in this rendering, and it's even a different distance from the eye center.
  20. wow. I love it when I'm mentioned, but not followed! I use chicago screws for the belt. duct tape over the top of the screw, then glue. this way the belt is interchangable. no brainer!
  21. nobody wants a trooper going to jail over a blaster. in fact it's not even mandatory to have a blaster at all!
  22. the entire electronic setup will go in the front of the gun under the T Tracks, with the speaker mounted behind a NON moving bolt. this way the cocking channel is the speaker well, and all the important parts will be mounted in the FRONT instead of at the rear, like most builds.
