1. Yeah, theirs is looking much better than when I bought mine. The handle is more accurate now, and so is the end cap, my two biggest complaints. I wonder if it has lights and sounds AND shoots. And I wonder if they'll be selling functional airsoft M38 replica scopes and the other e11 parts separately or in kits maybe
2. Gotta post in the full editor with BBC or whatever switched off (top left corner) from a PC with updated flash
3. There were at least 5 variations on the capacitors' number and position, so this isn't outside the existing parameters. It's better than all but maybe Andy's resin casts and is a fair price for the level of detail
4. Cool, I was looking for smaller width tracks than wanawanga's
5. I might get one in "polished" white (smooth matte finish) since there's free shipping for a little bit. Too bad metal isn't an option. Thanks for the close-ups of the real product, Karen!
6. Yeah, Apple hates Flash if I'm not mistaken. I'll post from my PC
7. Very cool! I don't have the heart to mod my internals but you did a really nice job with yours. Did you take out the motor in the handle? Can't wait for it to get naturally weathered even more by trooping with it
8. Thanks, guys. I'll have an update on the display body tomorrow [soon, rather!], and hopefully connect it to my dsny blaster for a full test. Thank goodness the connectors are screw down so I can test it before I paint it. It'll be weird to have one without a starboard side since it touches the scope there on my mod trial run, so maybe I'll just finish it all and drill two holes for the wires.
9. Anyone know why the new server hates iPhones? Or know of a way to post pics from one now?
I get these weird html code things everywhere
10. Wow that's gonna be interesting to fit in a bucket. Good to know the concept would work with the right hardware. Very cool, got a demo?

I got mine at a local mall's Disney shop. I hope they're not OOP
11. I recently discovered sanding sponges too. I like the 3M washable ones in fine grit. Their "give" provides greater uniformity control and my first sponge has lasted a long time compared to sandpaper. They're cheap and can be used on most materials
12. Everything they do is in effort to get it to you safely. You're talking a % of airplane and truck fuel, the packing bubbles and box, and the careful handling of the items during creation and packing. It's worth it if you can stomach it
13. Looks great! Resembles the slightly brownish color of the real things. Side-by-side pics?
14. Looks great so far. Surprisingly quick dry times eh?
15. I like how simple your catch action is. Kudos

I'd post it here if I could figure out how to on the new server...<br>
But the pic at the bottom of my airsoft thread:<br>
<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='<a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31522-stairsoft-sterling-l2a1-to-e11-build-thread/page-2#entry422877%27">http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31522-stairsoft-sterling-l2a1-to-e11-build-thread/page-2#entry422877'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31522-stairsoft-sterling-l2a1-to-e11-build-thread/page-2#entry422877</a><br><br>
You can see its resting just barely above the rest of the cap, the oil helping to catch the tiny glint. Hope that helps
16. Excellent news, that's way more room than I planned on. Oh the possibilities!
17. I haven't taken too much off, have I? I guess I'm wondering if the ATA butt piece has flashing that should be removed or if I should iron a true return edge that bends "in" as shown in the crl?
Whatever. Next piece.
18. Nice, that looks good enough for home storage. I don't plan on flying with them or anything. Thanks for the link
19. I'm looking on Amazon and wondered if anyone knew of a deep enough hard case sturdy enough for both resin and steel replicas. I see some that might work but figured I'd ask if there's a known standard. (I want to call Evike or S&T and get some empty airsoft boxes but I doubt they'd let me) Thanks all
20. They emailed me saying that they're sorry for being so noncommunicative across the board, and how we'll get more regular updates soon. So they say.
21. Monoculars are a god-send. Perfect sizes and you can keep the lenses in their little housing to add realism to the stepping effect found on the scopes (if you cut off the "front" a la doopy Hasbro conversion and bore out the bigger side). Plus you get a prism to let your scope be functional
22. I've read the rear sight flipped forward is the perfect height for a scope fail to fit on top, good eye
23. I think that's correct. Put them up to your arms while in the position of holding a blaster (righty) and it kinda makes more sense. Not sure if that was intentional but it helped me discern between lots of the L and R pieces. That's why I prefer the shoulder bells' curve forward, to match that iconic aggressive stance rather than at full attention or relaxing
