Looks fabulous Daniel! Use the R1 CRL for ran image guide, and please start, if you haven't already, getting all the individual pieces photographed for the CRL

Most of the TK armour we wear is ABS plastic, the other material used is HIPS. Thickness varies across parts due to their size and Vac forming process, so larger pieces like the chest plate can tend to be thinner at the edges and prone to cracking. You do need some flexibility in that part as well. Some makers use 2mm and have softer pulls, others use around 1.7 mm for sharper details, but that probably wouldn't bother you guys with what your use and intentions are. Ultimately, the parts only have so much flexibility, and the thinner edge areas will crack with heavy use. Visibility is terrible in a TK helmet, as can range of movement be depending on how you assemble the armour, so if your adversaries are not wearing it, you are going to be sitting ducks Keep a roll of white duct tape handy, cause you're going to need it when things start to crack. That's what they used in the original film production to keep the movie suits going, and I can imagine you guys will be far more harsh on the armour when in battle against other teams. It sounds like a lot of fun, but you will have some challenges for sure, if your plan is full armour.

Please excuse my frustration here, this CRL works has been posted up for a year, giving plenty of time for members to review and point out any discrepancies they feel need addressing. Sure we can make adjustments still, but it is far more helpful; for everyone if we can get oversights fixed before a CRL goes live.

LMO's agreed quite some time ago that Non Saga was to be the category for any TK not directly related to the big films, so that is an automatic update. It's also not just the Disney era CRL's that require work as there are some older CRL's also that still need tweaking, so although I agree, this will still take some time so the older CRL's don't become further neglected.

We are sorry Alex, this is as frustrating for us as it is yourself and our members waiting to get this costume approved. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

I tend to agree that the neck seal and undersuit for consistency, but will still need the gaskets as in the TFA show parts of the white armour so we would prefer to have the correct red.

If they are still using the same molds that Anovos used, then the kits are decent. Some things that stand out are, the pulls are sharp, but on some of the larger pieces the ABS get quite thin and can crack easily. The helmet faceplate is a very sharp pull, which makes it distinctive or easy to pick in a line-up compared to many other makers. These are not necessarily bad points, just some that differ a little from other makers kits. As you are learning, research is key in this hobby, so also take a look at some of the build threads for ANH armour which members place the maker or brand in the title. There you will also find many opinions and get a better look at the parts both assembled and in pieces.

Also to add, they will start on new to legion costumes being refined and added, so this is great news.

A far as advice goes, we have plenty to offer as you work your way through the build process, so ask loads of questions. The first advice I will offer is an oldie but a Goodie. Measure twice, cut once. This will make a lot of sense once you start sizing up your limb pieces to fit you better. Next would be to have a look at a few build threads members have made, but focus on the ones the same as the armour brand/kit you have purchased.
