Force Unleashed Phase III StormClone Armor
Sly11 replied to DeltaReynolds's topic in The Force Unleashed Costumes
It still amazes me that the CTD didn't want this back when I was discussing with them, so we decided to give support and an albeit possible temporary home. They weren't interested in spending any energy on it at all to my surprise. This may have changed now so Chris @themaninthesuitcase could certainly strike up a conversation with their current DL to see if that stance has changed. -
Welcome to FISD Sam, and congratulations on your approval.

Shoulder straps, def no visible Kintsugi but yes gray and also with red wraps. As to the eyes, yes, definitely will be included with both living and reanimated version and also the fact the eyes are obscured or not seen when in the reanimated mode green light's on. I remember writing those lines or very similar, and it's in one of the threads. I may have also already added it to the wiki doc I was building the CRL on, but those are currently being transformed into a new format. Kintsugi on armour pieces will be Gold paint for basic and i think EI, and then to gold leaf for Centurion. That can be artificial gold leaf, of course.

That's pretty much all we need. A member who wants that dirtied up battle worn look, and we can bring a CRL full circle. Legion first, anyone??

At first read, it looks good. Great work as always. Potential for a couple of minor tweaks listed in green for clearer explanations. 4 black raised black grips are present on the main rectangular body towards the electrodes 4 black raised grips are present on the main rectangular body towards the electrodes. Modding the Icomm with an external battery.
Sly11 replied to Sly11's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Thank you Tony. It seems those that have made the mod themselves have had good success and many years of use with the external battery.- 38 replies

30401s 3D printed Night Trooper Build Thread
Sly11 replied to Flauschi's topic in Night Trooper Build Threads
Awesome Max!, looking forward to watching this build progress. The Nico files were considered pretty good back in the day for the Rogue 1 style Helmet. Here is a build thread where the member explains some modifications they did to those files for assembly and accuracy improvements. Also, if you haven't already, you check out our Rogue one resource section for several 3d files on helmets and armour parts. May be something here that could assists you. -

I am glad to have met Terrell on a sunny afternoon in Orlando. It was a gathering of FISD staff and attaches for lunch during Celebration in 2017. He will remain a very highly respected contributor to the detachment and our hobby, and forever remain in our thoughts and hearts. Buckets off in remembrance.

Hi Will, We are here to support you as much as possible. As Glen mentioned above, we specifically look after Stormtroopers, but that does not mean we won't help you if you desire a different costume. We have thousands of members who have built other costumes, this includes many of the command staff. We also have a section called Other areas of interest, where members post about what they are working on or have completed from other Detachments and outside the Star Wars universe. Let us know what costume you desire, and we will give assistance and also put you in contact with the right people to get you on your journey.
