Good move to deeply consider everything before making any adjustments Chris. Mine are merely suggestions for the symmetry of the costume, looks like the CRL model had similar issues and indeed could be they way the armour was formed, a little oversized in some areas.

The Artillery Stormtrooper as seen in the series The Mandalorian today has the green light form the LMO office and is live and ready to use. I would like to thank Honeymustard TK-22540 (Logan Hole) of the Wisconsin Garrison for his epic work and research and assistance is helping us bring this CRL to fruition. The thighs do look like they have some girth at the top you could trim down to fit which also would help them sit in from the but plate. If we also look at the original sketches and the action figure we can see the taper at the bottom of the thighs and at the top of the shins is very close to the same width. You could also trim your shins to more closely resemble this look where currently the top of the shins are wider than the bottom of the thighs.

My AP kit is 9 years old and still going strong, although it has started to turn yellow after many solid years of trooping outdoors Aussie sun and UV will do that to any kit. Or Disney actually make him a live action character and then we go with what is seen on screen. We are still not 100% on what the boots look like, whether they have plates like Pharma's, or are just red FOTK boots.

Great to see you are still working on this build Bryan, the ears are always a little tricky but the on screen helmets has a wide variation of gaps so don't worry too much about those. Get the ear angle right if you intend to aim for centurion, which you certainly should as your armour is coming together very nicely. keep it up.

@chris788, when the time comes, I can speak with your GML's regarding the CRL and your helmet. I'm personal friends with your GCO Andy and have already started to discuss things with him so you will be fine with the helmet you have.

This one is specifically for the ANH Stunt variant, there is also the Hero version with a few differences. The Stunt ANH is by far our most popular Stormtrooper around the world. Amended to the below Although the Artillery Trooper is clad in Rogue One armor, the Pauldrons that denote rank or mission specialization are an ANH style in construction. *A Yellow ornament made of leather plastic or leather-like material, worn over the right shoulder. The Yellow is specific to Rogue One/remnant as seen in The Mandalorian. *The colored panel is divided into three sections by color matched stitching to conform to the wearers shoulder and has black piping around the outside edge. *The remainder of the Pauldron is black and divided by black stitching into 10 segments. *The neck closure is black, it is mounted on top with two silver rivets and has two silver snaps visible. *There is a black elastic strap that runs from back to front and is worn under the bicep to hold the Pauldron in place. The strap is conned to the Pauldron on top by two black snaps inlayed in black “D” shaped leather or leather-like ends. *The underside of the Pauldron is white or black regardless of top color and is divided with white or black stitching into 3 segments. The entire outside edge is finished with black piping and the underside of the neck closure is black.

So this is how i have the wording currently for the pauldron on the Artillery Trooper. I think im getting close. If we look at say the Pauldron on the old incinerator trooper we basically give no description at all other than ANH style lol.

Just compiling these together for ease. The 501st Legion - TK-6682 and TK-12530 of Southern California Garrison pose in their Ralph McQuarrie looks like both style of helmets approved, but i have no idea what the CRL looked like back then. MacQuarrie also had several conceptual drawings Chris's seems to match the end one To my knowledge, Kevin Weir was possibly the only one making this kit??

Definitely mold release Justin, very common practice, even more so on parts that have miner undercuts, like a cap n back of a OTTK bucket. It certainly makes the plastic pop off a mold easier in my experience pulling ABS. Welcome to FISD and our new Valkyries section Tilheyra!
