  1. The dogs, I've got yours mate and have been heavily promoting them to all our newby recruits, so expect to see a few PM's coming your way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. If Chrome, that could cause all sorts of interesting reflection and lighting issue. Very interesting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Would sure make it easier to identify who you were talking to on a troop [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. If you are having trouble with the length of the shins, you can trim from the bottom, so your knees can bend better. Also you can trim a similar shape from the bottom back edge of the back of your thighs to the ones you have at the top back edge of your shins. This will make a big difference. If you can't walk, makes it very hard to enjoy a troop. Hope this makes sense and helps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Nice work, the mystery of the unknown Trooper solved. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  9. Yippy, I am finally a Stormtrooper Officially TK 11469. Now just have to work out how to gain access to the 501st website. Do I need to post a link to my 501St ID or similar as have seen a few posts requesting 501 access.
  10. What is on the atK loop, as I am waiting approval don't think I have access to that part of the 501st or FISD as yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Congrats Germain, your armour is truly impressive. Glad I went with AP as I aspire to have my armour looking as great as yours does. Well done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Congratulations Tim, very well deserved. Thank you for the high quality and detailed information in your build threads, thank you for your support in the forums and thank you for your sense of humour. Personally I think you will breeze Centurion in as your attention to detail is truly fastidious . Again congrats. [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Looking sharp Tim, good luck with your application .[emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. The "S" trim is actually window seal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. There is beauty in the fact that the Stormtrooper is asymmetrical. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. You can get Centurion accurate rivets from Echo here on the boards. Go to ongoing sales and orders, you will find them there. Elastic straps with snaps and a Velcro back up is what I did. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  18. Congrats Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Yep, it's the only way I can get it on or off, I don't have a very big head so I can imagine how hard or tight it must be on a larger trooper. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Most if not all the TK's in our Garrison have two piece compression garment for under suits . Things you need to consider. You can't see very well You can't move freely If you can't pee, you are in trouble. Go a two piece, it is solid advice, I promise you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. G'day and welcome aboard. As has been said above, research is your best friend in this hoby. Ask as many questions as you can, as we are all here to help, and a very wise piece of advice that was given to me when I first came on board. Measure twice, cut once. Good luck on your quest and enjoy the journey it's loads of fun. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Do you have an untrimmed kit? If so don't fear the first cut, embrace it as you have surplus practice material to work with. If using a blade, make the first cut away from the mould lines to see how easy it is to scribe that line, and follow the above instructions from sskunky. Take your time, it is easier than you think and we have all been there feeling the way you do. Once you trim you first part you will wonder what all the fuss was about. I wish you well on your build, I love my AP armour. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Well done and congratulations. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Couple of shots to pass the time. I am wearing Nomex gloves in this shot and not my accurate rubber gloves, and would you believe, the damn flash has crapped out on my camera so sorry they are a little dark. bit of a practice run for my EIB shots so i can see what needs a tweak before the time comes. Just spotted the gap difference between my for arm and bicep is bigger on one side, so gots ta fix dat. Hey, don't turn your back on me! Sing out please anyone with your two cents worth of what i may need to fix, especially you Gazmosis!!! My wife gets pissed every time i ask her to take more photos so the less i have to keep retaking the better for me not copping it from her..
  25. Have now trimmed off the excess on my cover strips and put in my 501st app, will post some more photos tonight, but my Garrison GML has given me the all clear so just waiting for that special email that confirms my TK number, and I will submit for EIB as soon as I can Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
