  1. I've tested this site on IE8 and it works fine, fwiw, so I can guarantee that is not the case of any issues.
  2. I talked to Wyatt just now and he said he spoke with you last week? Actually if he sent you replacements he's nicer than I am, as while I can't comment on communication I as a seller don't take responsibility once it's shipped. If I have a customs document and receipt, well, what the UK post office does on your end... Still, I hope it resolves soon - he's never let anyone down yet.
  3. I'll be there with my name badge as well.
  4. Congrats Matthew - you're looking great
  5. 5 for me as well (as of last month!), though I bought my first kit in 2001, I had no idea there was such a thing as the 501st until 2005.
  6. Is this triktoys under a different Ebay handle? TK-702 is out in the Dune Sea garrison, but her name is Angela.
  7. Steve - what I mean is that pretty much every armor maker out there produces kits that are EIB-ready. By this I mean correct ab plate buttons, detached butt plate, etc.
  8. You can also use a good camera to take really high quality photos of your screen too. Can work sometimes better than screen grabs.
  9. Corporate IT will tell you this: 1) Unplug your computer from the internet 2) Boot in to safe mode 3) Back up your data (USB drive, DVD, etc.) 4) Wipe the computer 5) Install a fresh copy of Win Sorry you got hit with those pesky type ads, but I've worked in big corporations a long time and once a computer is infected it's always suspect. For anti-virus at home, I use Windows Security Essentials. Free, painless, and has been working like a charm. And, it's top rated too.
  10. Read this: Getting Started ABS is more sturdy, but can be harder to trim and ABS prices are higher. But yeah, any ANH sized armor should be fine.
  11. I disagree - it's good you posted this. Even though he's not held in esteem by many, the fact that you got your order done very well is still a good thing to know.
  12. What - your first post? How long has this det been here? And your a WI resident too? Hmmm...maybe I should take offense... Nah - just kidding! Great to see you finally here
  13. Tell us how you really feel, Matt ;-) LOL
  14. I'd suggest option A with that suit (check out ATA or AP for helmets to match). Don't worry about the shoulder straps as they are fine for 501st acceptance and will be hidden under a pauldron. ----------- Then just get a few ammo pouches (the same guy who makes the pouches will sell them to you) and you're set (presuming that you won't hit the con with a blaster, else you'll need one of those too). If you really, really want to do a stormtrooper, I'd advise selling the suit for cost (you should no problem - you bought it ), and then buying one of the pre-assembled TK suits that are currently for sale. Otherwise the effort/cost to convert that sandtrooper to stormtrooper will be more than it's worth.

  16. All set gents - thanks for remembering to include your links. Dan - I'm hoping to head back to Madison, WI in Oct - perhaps I should bring my TK with me - would be great to meet you guys. Allen - pix of your TX? Would be neat to see. Cheers gents
  17. - looks great to me
  18. We really should call out the size of these fasteners in the EIB for recommendations. As noted they are suggested but not required this year.
  19. Just be aware that the vendor is known for over-charging. While they look good, I bet you beans to biscuits you can find them cheaper elsewhere...
  20. I see pink as well. Whilst Lord Vader is making inquiries, our Wookie subcontractors have repeatedly assured us that this is just a normal glitch, and not at all caused by Rebel infiltration.
  21. I think you hit it Brian (and said so in the GML thread) - let's see what Terrell says...
  22. So noted - why delete if the content is accurate?
  23. SDS is not considered reputable as there have been many issues with regards to shipping and order fulfillment, and thus we do not include him on the list.
