Really is up in the air in my opinion. Based on the pictures of their website - it will have all be necessary elements for basic approval. It also seems that with the correct building work- it could be approved within the FISD boards for the highest level of approval. That said - it is all dependent on how the armor fits you - which is where most will lean toward you building a kit. Even with good generally sizing - most pre built kits will almost certainly not fit you perfectly and require rebuilding/strapping anyway.

Great looking build, I really like the hand painted detail on the helmet. The only two things that stand out to me are the length from your drop boxes, to your belt ( could be shortened up to a man in minimal distance ) and your screws on your TD should be flat head- not Philips head. I'm on the wait list- and am still waiting. While I completely agree that Anovos being a new company and have their reputation on the line...so they will definitely take great care of their customers---- these quality issues wreak of poor production practices. It makes me nervous spending ANY money with them. I will say I've purchased the OT kit already, but this thread is making me 2nd guess even that GREAT DEAL. wonder if it's worth waiting on the folks here to make a fan sculpt.. Thoughts?

After talking to a few people after today's troop- most say they've left theirs in the car while going to the park and the heat didn't damage their gear at all. I did hear that heat will speed up the aging process a little of the plastic- so some polish might be a good idea - but I left mine in the car. Fingers crossed

Great question. And if you can leave a TK in your car- is there really and damage that could happen due to heat? I'd be worried about some of the soft rubber parts (brow trim, s trim for neck) but don't know if the heat would actually damage anything -

Wow, Steve and Vern both- as folks I truly see as mentors in my 501st / TK adventure, though I've never met you I like to think of both of you as a HUGE part of this new family I've joined. I can only tell you that both of you are in my prayers and I hope for both of you to have a speedy recovery. Please keep us all updated with anything we can do to help

So again I ask- anovos supplied the new "authorized" armor to 50 folks to build and troop C7- have we any word as to its quality. Did they deliver the goods as promised? I'm sure someone knows (other than me)

A few question- 1) did any of the lucky 50 going to C7 that got the new TK from anovos finish their builds? Have we seen the quality from any of those members yet? 2) will we be able to purchase the new TK before the movie releases from anovos

I taped mine off- and used silly putty to fill the teeth holes. Worked great
