  1. The centurion approval just says 9-16 tubes on each side. Nothing about height/location or width. Guess I'm just trying to confirm what ron suggested about them being a pencil width down from top of tube??
  2. The decals that can with the NE bucket were labeled - (there were two sets) one was labeled stunt, the other set labeled hero. - I can take off the ones I put on- (if they are sitting to low) and use the second set and raise them up a bit if that would make it more accurate but im not sure. How many should be on either side- is that what's needed to be centurion correct?
  3. What's the big difference between "hero" tube stripes, and "stunt" ? Other than hero being just a slight bit thicker - my eye can't see anything
  4. Just ordered a set of replacement decal tubes from trooperbay just in case [emoji6]
  5. Thanks Ron, need the feedback. I looked at several posts and approvals and saw a lot of difference in gap, with next to no comment. I stared the positioning up closet, just didn't seem right to my eye.
  6. DONE!!! I've been waiting for this moment - for a LONG TIME!!
  7. And yes- that is old school silly putty plugging my drill holes
  8. And after some reshaping of the teeth- I was ready for my plasti- dip. Decided to go with the black interior for this bucket. I'll let ya know how it turns out when it dries
  9. Not quite sure who to give credit to but I remember seeing in a thread somewhere "redneck fiberglass" to reinforce where you mount your hovi tips. Basically a cut piece of T-shirt and gobs of superglue. Makes these thin pieces of plastic SUPER STRONG.
  10. Hahaha - woke up this morning and already working on the left. Need to get this bucket finished. It's all that's keeping me from being suit up ready!
  11. Moved my bottoms hole a little and took some off the back to get it more flush. Better? Thoughts?
  12. I really like the idea of outlining the ear- but not sure I can do it with this ear at this stage in the game. Where you can see the over lap (under the ear) I've gone back and am trimming that "big curve more" to get the faceplate and back cap sitting more flush together - Not sure what to do to get the ear sitting closer though
  13. So after roughly a month off- having a new baby at home has kept me pretty busy, I'm back to work. Need some advice on my right ear. I'm getting pretty happy with it but am afraid to trim anymore. What do YA think?
  14. Work will resume on my bucket tonight... After I'm done welcoming the newest member to my family.. Long - awesome day! I shall name him/her TK091114. Kidding of course
  15. That looks like it just might work- does the width of my ears look ok?
  16. Word of encouragement - advice- support- ideas?????!? I'm at the point now where i don't want to take any more off the "depth" of the ears- (I like the depth) but need them to sit a little closer. The pic here has quite a bit of pressure applied as it is-
  17. Move the plates and re did the straps again. I don't know if physically they can be moved any closer to the edge
  18. Well- I think it will become the battle of me vs the butt plate lol- I'm gonna try and move the plates even closer to the edge- while not changing the distance between the kidney and the butt. I think the distance between he back and kidney is much better now and doesn't have amy overlap.
