  1. Nice find! I was wondering if any of the T-track makers here were still active, but it's good to know I can make my own if necessary.
  2. The flat ear bumps are an RT Mod quirk, but it won't affect your 501st or EIB application. Having said that, if anyone has any creative ideas on how to alter them without damaging the helmet, I'd interested as well.
  3. Smitty just did a run of ROTJ E-11 greeblies. --------
  4. ANH troopers, as you pointed out, can carry a DLT-19 and still remain canon. So yes, it's permissible. As far as being approved w/o an E-11 and holster, that'll be up to your local GML. I'd still advise getting the E-11 and holster, which could be as inexpensive as a painted Hasbro with a second-hand holster.
  5. You just need to use the "Insert Image" button above the text box to wrap the link in the right tags.
  6. Outstanding job! I see another EIB in the near-future. I continue to be impressed with the quality of the new builds - the bar just keeps getting higher.
  7. Sweet! Wish I lived in Florida. Will you be visiting any other U.S. locations in the near future?
  8. Billy already took care of it - take a look at your avatar.
  9. It looks like everything is in place. On a administrative note, we probably should get your status updated from "Member" to "Stormtrooper" first. Please post a request to do so here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16
  10. OK guys, I've been watching this thread closely since I saw it this morning. While the video is indeed "unusual", please refrain from making any statements that would be seen as derogatory in nature based on sexual orientation or any other category. Thanks.
  11. It looks like your right bicep is twisting, which you can fix if you like by strapping it to the shoulder bell.
  12. Well done, boss. Thanks for your dedication to the cause.
  13. Congratulations Joey!
  14. I use shims on my FX forearms. I used the extra ABS "belt pieces" that came with my kit, cut them down to the appropriate size and width, and glued them in place. Many people glue on side and velcro the other (which I did at first), but since then I've glued both sides of the shim and simply slide the forearm piece on/off. Works like a charm.
  15. Wow. Words fail to describe ...
  16. Seems perfectly natural to me.
  17. Seems fine, although if you can bring them forward just a tad more I think it might look even better. Perhaps you can temporarily attach them with velcro and do a test-fit before permanently gluing the fronts (leaving the backs to free-float is suggested as it is more accurate).
  18. Personally I wouldn't trim the shoulder straps. If you do, you'll lose the flattened ends that are accurate to ANH/ESB troopers. Better just to center them IMO. If you really want shorter straps, instead of trimming your current straps you may be able to order replacement parts from TM, AP, or RT-Mod. I'm sure the straps are longer because the AM kit was molded with larger troopers in mind, the logic being smaller troopers can trim if needed.
  19. Happy (belated) Birthday Julie! - Love the Star Wars shirt, BTW! It has a real retro look to it.
  20. Mine aren't "the best, most accurate money can buy" but IMO they're definitely good enough to be acceptable as a 501st sandtrooper, and I plan on using them for my HWT EIB submittal: length of rectangular backing: 23cm width of rectagular backing: 14cm length of pouch (1 of 3): 19.5cm width of pouch: (1 of 3): 4.5cm depth of pouch: (1 of 3): 3cm You can see photos of them here: -------
  21. Congrats bro! Don't forget to update your profile with your TK number and garrison. Looking forward to seeing those first troop pics! As for changing your FISD status, look here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=16
  22. This is the reason why my garrison holds periodic armor-building get-togethers. Have you asked for help on the UKG forums yet?
