  1. It's a bit hard to tell how many T-tracks you have on the E-11. Nonetheless, you're looking really good, Tom. I think it's safe to say Garrison Tyranus now has it's second EI TK.
  2. Outstanding work, Pablo. You've definitely got a set of armor that's worthy of your amazing E-11. Congratulations, trooper.
  3. In most of the firefights you can also see muzzle flashes. It's especially obvious in the screen caps caught at the instant a trooper is firing his weapon.
  4. Thanks all for posting the screen caps, I just scored a new set of reference photos. Love the details!
  5. I'll be a good weekend, like Christmas and your birthday all rolled up into one.
  6. It's more about girth than height, and any armor can be made to fit just about any frame. 175lb is about mid-range from what I've seen. There's a trooper by the name of Bigturc who is about 6'4", he wears AP. His photos are posted in the gallery, if you take a look you'll get some idea as to how that particular armor will look on you.------------
  7. Look here. http://www.tonybarnett.plus.com/shims.html Instead of using velcro on both sides, I used glue on one side of the calf shims, and on both sides of the bicep shims.
  8. Ditto, except for the rivets. I used glue instead.
  9. To get you started on your search, a preassembled TE2 is considered one of those "higher end" helmets.
  10. Congratulations to all of the expecting fathers! Sleep now, while you can.
  11. Thanks for posting that! My elastic-secured ABS handguards are always sliding out of place, it looks like I've just found the solution.
  12. Yeah! I now know what to do with my FX when I finally upgrade out of it
  13. Most of the buckets we see around here are Stunt version, which may explain why you expected to see different teeth, lenses, etc. Still, kudos for recognizing the lineage to the MRCE. Definitely an excellent find.
  14. A new blaster and a few costume adjustments, and you'll be all set. The makerofthings blaster looks like an ESB E-11 (no Hengstler counter), does he sell ANH blasters?
  15. I had the same problem with my chest plate riding up and shoulders riding back. Billy Haggis showed me a way to strap the ab piece to the chest piece, it solved both problems. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=5749 In addition to shortening the drop box straps, I suggest attaching them to the plastic utility belt instead of the canvas part, and using 1" wide straps across the biceps (it looks like you have 2" straps).
  16. Once again, outstanding job. Congratulations, it's well deserved.
  17. It looks like the bells have been trimmed in PART 2 of the photos.
  18. Looks good. Then again, I'd expect nothing less from the UKG. I didn't see any problems, should be an easy yes.
  19. I use snaps, that way I can take the holster on and off, makes for easier packing. Rivets are no doubt more secure, but permanent. Hang on to the right-handed holster. If you decide to go ESB or sell it to someone who wants to go ESB, it'll come in handy.
  20. For fast, easy, non-precision cuts I use tin snips. For detailed work, I prefer the score/snap method using a hobby knife. I prefer not to use the dremel, as I've found it tends to melt the ABS.
  21. Wow. Once again, the UKG sets the standard. I'm going to have to find a way to make it over there one day.
  22. Sounds like the life of an infantryman. Grunts are the same everywhere, just the equipment is different.
