  2. Hi all This maybe, an unusual request on these boards but unfortunatley, i dont have any choice, which is a shame, i have my TM armour, nearly ready to go, all that is left is to mod the bucket, and that is the problem, i am Ham fisted and rubbish at diy, hence this proposal, i would like someone to mod the lid for me, i have some Black non slip matting to line the inside, and i have a Rom/FX Pro voice kit and an fan kit that need fitting, i am willing to pay for this work to be done, as im sure it take some time, all i need is someone that lives within a few miles of Nuneaton in Warwickshire, and i will bring the gear to you, pay when the mods are complete, and then collect it from you when done, i have no idea how long to complete this work, hence willing to pay, no comments please about how great it is to do it myself guys as i really dont have the skill or time (due to work commitments). Anyone seriously interested in doing this, previous experience only please!!! in fitting these types of mods. pm me on these forums, or alternativley mail me at home to sprhino@sky.com. Thank you.
  3. I will give it a try, can anyone tell me where i can get some really strong Velcro, in the UK please, its going to have to be very strong, any help please guys hih street or online doesnt matter.
  4. Good idea, however i think they will be to tight, and im not really sure how to do it without ruining them if it doesnt work.
  5. Hi all I have a problem, with the rear of my ESB shins, i have spoken to TM, who suggests that i start a thread incase anyone has come across this issue, here are a couple of pics to show you all the problem, hope someone can help. Thanks guys.
  6. Hi all I have some pics of my TM ESB armour, how do i upload them please, i have tried photobucket, but they either wont load from there, or they are not allowed
  7. Guys I am awaiting the delivery of a very well known comms set for my soon to be delivered new armour lid, my question is what are hovi mics, if i have been obvious enough most of you will know what comms kit i have coming, i suppose i need to know will i need mics with this kit, or does it have them already ? and if so do i get hovi mics, or a barking up the wrong Bantha altogether. Cheers Paul
  8. Thats very kind offer, but i am in the uk, and i dont expect you to send it that far, but thank you very much for the offer.
  9. Hi all Kit arriving soon, and my thoughts turn to modding my bucket, i have the fan kit ready to fit when armour arrives, i also have some non slip matting i am going to use to line the helmet along with some padding, (when i figure out what to use), i am unsure though what to use to line the inside of the frown, to prevent my mouth being seen through the frown, can someone help with what to use please.
  10. Just purchased one of the vox fan systems from 501st-creations on ebay. just need padding now, when i can find some in the uk
  11. Thanks buddy I found this, is it any good ? does anyone know please, and would it fit into a TM bucket properly ? -----
  12. Hi all I will be soon in receipt of my new TM armour, so i have to ask now, how i go about readying my new lid for full trooping use, i.e, padding out, (how do i go about padding it) what i mean by that is how do you know where to put the padding inside the lid, and how much and what type of padding to use, i will also be purchasing a rom fx, kit shortly when the next run is ready, and finally (Phew) what about installing a fan in the lid, i am not technically minded, so if anyone thinks it should be done by someone with a little savvy, please say so, my new kit cost me a small fortune and i dont want to risk ruining it. Finally, is there anywhere in the uk, people use to buy the fan for the lid? can kit be bought, or do you again have to make it up from bits? or are most of us buying from the usa. Sorry for the lengthy post, but its the techie bits that worry me the most, and especially when talking about the lid as i dont see how i can do with out the fan, inside my lid, and i dont want to be without the rom fx kit, as it sounds awesome. Any advice that i can get i would be most grateful for.
  13. Hi all I am nearly there with my kit, all i need to source out now is a neckseal, preferably from the uk, as that is where i am, and obviously will be faster delivery, it MUST be 501st acceptable, as i aim to join the ranks, as soon as my armour arrives v.shortly, can anyone help please. Thanks Paul
