  1. The full WIP on the Obsucurus Crusade is really impressive! I've painted hundreds of Space Marines but you cannot really realize how massive and huge they are till you see one at a 1:1 scale!! Good luck with the torso and the paint. Which chapter are your aiming for?
  2. This quote from Rhapsodyred99 is pretty interesting regarding PVC vs ABS:
  3. Your biceps seems to have a good fit right now. However, i don't remember if NE has specific left and right biceps (it should), so if it's the case then the one with the "thumbprint" on the inner half (the one on your pictures) goes on your left biceps. The right biceps has a more squared indent and no thumbprint: (right biceps and forearm)
  4. It might also be caused by the fact you have too much extra room at the bottom of your thigh (around the knee). Then the solution would be to unglue the back cover stripe, taper more the thigh than it was at the bottom, but without changing the fit at the top, and reglue the cover stripe. The sniper knee plate shouldn't be able to get stuck under your thigh anymore because there simply won't be enough space for it.
  5. EIB obtained, and Centurion soon i hope

  6. If it can reassure you, i understand what you're meaning! And i like the design of your biceps hooks, very cool. I too ended up having troubles with SIMpixel's method and had to modify them to avoid breaking and improve the fit. And about the masking fluid, this is indeed an excellent idea, i don't see any reason why it would harm the ABS and it works very well for protecting an area from paint. Same thing about the markers, unless you can't use them on metal i don't see why it wouldn't work. And as i can see, you already tested them on spare screws and it looks ok, so...
  7. Ha ha, you're right! I hope not to wait this long before requesting you the Centurion certitificat
  8. Germain Graziano 14492 EIB A4 Thank you sir!
  9. They look really good! The u-shaped elastics are a bit stretched but as they'll be hidden under the shins that should do perfectly. Good luck with the dye .
  10. Very nice hand for the paint! Good luck with the vertical black stripes.
  11. Thank you very much sir ! About the remarks you did on my power cylinders, scope rail and holster i can only agree with you. Actually i can explain these by the fact i bought and assembled them before i became that old accuracy hag i am now . I will try to get you a close-up pic of my mic tips asap. Unfortunately, i don't have my helmet at hand right now so it will most likely have to wait for this WE before i can get it.
  12. It's looking good from what i see. I would just advise you to remove the return edge on top of the inner half of the forearm too, or it will bite you when you'll flex your arm.
  13. Well done! Congratulations on finishing that build
  14. Anyhow, if time and money isn't an issue i'd go with TM or RS (or CfO for ROTJ).
  15. Now that's the legendary German strictness to do things, i've never seen a thread so well organized . And i gotta say that i dig that weathering you have on your helmet!! Did Paul do it or was it you? I'm also impressed by how tight the lens is with the eye openings, very nice. It's good to finally see that armor and i look forward for the next episode!
  16. Interesting to note that this blaster is the same than the one below. However on this picture it has lost this front "bump". Meaning it could be a greeblie that fell off: It's also got an unusual "bump" on the back of the scope beside.
  17. Looks awesome! As Nick says, the teeth are really nailed and i love that brow positioning
  18. I think the result will be awesome About the choking issue, i think you can reduce it by getting the middle elastic between the ab and chest more loose. And about the butt plate flaring this is intrisically due to the original armor RS has recast. If you look at screenshots from the film you can notice that a lot of butt plates flared like that.
  19. That's nonsense... Unless you have HUGE gaps at the knees there's absolutely no way you can be rejected for that! Nice looking armor BTW
  20. Once you have the names and garrison it's easy but finding them can prove to be very difficult . I have a fellow mate from the French Garrison who was looking for a ROTJ blaster and it took me forever to find one for him! By the way i think i have found the name in your presentation thread, so thank you .
  21. Looks pretty interesting indeed. The scope is definitely not resin in the scene you're interested in, so looking for a greebly could be the solution. And looking at the screenshot again, it could be that greebly glued the other way on top of the scope.
  22. Blaster seems really cool indeed! Congrats this by far one of the most difficult thing to find when it comes to Stormtroopers
  23. I think on the film they didn't know how to difference them and strapped them randomly. However, you can indeed tell if a shoulder bell is a right or a left one. The right/hand shoulder bell has a straight middle ridge whereas the left/hand shoulder bell has a flare at the bottom of its middle ridge: Right Left
  24. Screws aren't marked as mandatory in the CRL, but our DO might require it as Centurion is mostly about details. So keep it in mind if you ever come across this type of screws:
  25. Seems fine to me. If you really look for more overlap on the sides, the solution would be to tilt the Cap & Back downward, but it might raise the brow a bit at on point: And on a side note, when you'll be ready to rivet the face with the back, the washers go on the inside of the helmet
