  1. Very nice armor, and i love the weathering you have on it For Centurion, i would swap those rivets for black slotted pan head screws on your on your detonator clips.
  2. EIB on the way...

I keep fingers crossed for you, man! Good luck.

  3. Indeed, i just added it for comparison. I should have mentioned it.
  4. After procrastinating for too long, i'm finally making the jump off. I have written this topic with Centurion in mind, explaining the unnecessary pics, so i can then just copy/paste my EIB post. 5. I've seen the armor worn by someone in real and the result will be awesome for sure!
  6. Use CAP rivets if you still have some.
  7. That's awesome! All these little details spotted on, it's so cool However, i hate to bring it now but did you know about the thing below?
  8. Don't worry, you got them right. ESB helmets are a lot different than ANH ones in terms of painting and marking. Check this thread if you want, it contains several very nice pics of originals helmets: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21243-esb-regular-esb-mark-ii-decals-assistance-needed-accuracy-nuts-need-only-reply/
  9. Actually your AP will now require the kydney notches to be Centurion approvable anew. But i agree, this TM really fits you like a glove, did you build it yourself?
  10. You're privileged to be able to work on all those TM's armors man . You still have got some return edges on the forearms wrist openings which should be removed though. And i would also remove completely the ankle's return edges to reduce the wear caused to the boots and because it won't hurt the accuracy:
  11. Wow, that is superb! MEPD must be happy Though it may become difficult to suit back in your AP now
  12. It might prove to be a little difficult to paint the abdominal buttons now that they're glued and that the ab plate is strapped with the rest of the torso. Perhaps you should think about doing it before strapping the chest and back plates.
  13. I'm never bored of gazing at TM's armors. And the ANH stormtroopers section is broken in two different parts, the build threads and the other threads, like the "show-off" ones. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/6-anh-stunt-and-hero/ But off course, i don't want to force you, do as you wish mate
  14. Well done, congratulations
  15. Well, i think we can call this one finished, so... when are we gonna be allowed to have a peek at this TM armor of yours?
  16. Daft Punk's "Discovery" album is just a must-listen in my opinion
  17. Yes, there's a lot of stress in this piece once glued down. Closing in the wings of the sniper knee plate before gluing it, is indeed a good thing to do. Also, reducing the return edges will increase the flexibility of the SKP making it easier to glue.
  18. Crooked sniper knee plate is one of the characteristic of the AP amor. If i could give you a piece of advice it'd be to line up the ridges of the sniper knee plate with the ridges of the shins, no matter if the SKP looks crooked then. In fact once all suited up, you don't noticed it anymore and having the ridges aligned is important to obtain EIB and Centurion badges. You can also try to heat it up and then to reshape it but this is risky.
  19. Don't worry, ears will solve those problems, they are here for it after all: (For the record, this isn't a TM helmet but an AP)
  20. You're right, i don't think it should hold you back anyway. You look stellar man
  21. Looks excellent indeed! You just need to score a cocking handle somewhere to be able to clear EIB and Centurion with it
  22. Very good!! It was going to be noticed and you would have been ask to address it, so it's good thing to have done it before Steve reviews your application On a side note, i see you got some overlap on the sides when you have your armor on. RS armor comes with some flash (extra ABS) on the flank junctions that i don't feel you actually need and that you could shave off. However it might require to make some adjustments regarding the length of the straps if you do it.
  23. Yep ^^. In fact i am talking about the ABS ammo belt fastened to the bottom of the right thigh:
  24. I've just noticed you used pop rivets to fasten the thigh ammo belt to you right thigh. Unfortunately those aren't allowed for Centurion and they will have to be changed for solid domed rivets. The best would be CAP rivets with a 7mm head, but if you still have some, you can also use split rivets (the same used on the left side). Or maybe you could fill the little dimple of the pop-rivet head with some epoxy and then repaint it white. You'll need to wait for Steve's word if it effectively could be a solution.
