First grab a piece of pvc pipe (thick walled), cut it to the right length of the parts you need and then cut a slot down one side Next heat the pipe for a few minutes, you know when it is heated enough as you can see the pipe distort. Open out, don't use fingers to do this as it is hot Then flatten between two pieces of wood and hold down until it's cooled The you have your flat plastic, draw your piece to shape, mine is for side grip cover plates for my DLT-19 Here they are Hope this is a help to some of you

Time to make the side grip plates, finding sheets of plastic is a bit hard so I came up with a trick to make some. First grab a piece of pvc pipe, cut it to the right length and then cut a slot down one side Next heat the pipe for a few minutes, you know when it is heated enough as you can see the pipe distort. Open out, don't use fingers to do this as it is hot Then flatten between two pieces of wood and hold down until it's cooled The you have your flat plastic, draw your piece to shape There you go, side cover grips cut, just have to make the grooves, going to try heating a small strip of metal ten pushing into the plastic to leav an impression. If this doesn't work I will just cut slots with the dremmel

What can I say but

I used black silastic, very strong and flexible, added up to the edges and it is holding very well when flexed. I may add that I scuffed the back of the guards and the gloves with some sandpaper first

Think i must just be one of the lucky ones, i haves had two orders from doopys and both got here complete and undamaged. Hope you have some better luck soon

This build is a bit hard for electronics, not many places to incorporate it, managed to reduce the size of the speaker and battery holder and now have installed all the electronics bar the led into the feeder cover

If you use some t cut on the matt white it may give it a little shine like your armor, may be worth while trying a test piece just in case

BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME TO BE A STORMTROOPER LOL

I used two small blocks of plastic, drilled a small whole in them, glued one either side of the holes, fixed one screw and washer to the lens (cut the lens a little larger than needed) then used a little force so the lens formed flat over the eye holes, then placed the other screw and washer. Hope it made sense, worked well for me

Just made a switch compartment, using some plastic, a spring from a pen and micro switch same as my other blaster builds, also using a hi-bright red led and electronics from another $6 toy gun

Looking good, ears are the worst, you need some patience and sand a little at a time and keep checking the gap. Keep up the good work
