  1. Nice start, looking forward too more
  2. If you run along the cut edge with a lighter it will help stop the elastic from fraying
  3. You can be never have enough magnets and clamps
  4. Both of my buckets have a forward lean
  5. Sorry didn't see your post earlier. I'm not sure with the boiling water method as I've never used it, I did mine with a heat gun, seem to have more control, warmed both sides the applied downwards pressure on the front of the shins. It just eased out the sides, you can feel when it's moving. Looks like your backs are getting pretty flat, just keep an eye on that
  6. LOL don't you hate that
  7. Rivets in and brow trim fitted to check alignment. And from the side
  8. Got two sets of bubbles early on, one set was for a friends build but he decided not to do a hero so I ended up with two sets. I decide to use this set from Paul (troopermaster) as they are a really nice green, the others where quite dark. Got the cap and sides trimmed, magnets I find are the greatest help with the fitment, always seems the lids wants to pull down on one side, this is solved once the rivets are fitted. And from the side
  9. Finally been able to get on top of all the projects, waiting on new things to arrive and for paint to dry, time to get back on to my Hero Bucket Trimming out the teeth and eyes. Trimmed a bit more to allow the bubble lenses to fit nicely.
  10. Some nice updates there, well done
  11. Big difference to mine, wouldn't bother with it even at a lower price. You can get a scratch built T-21 over at MEPD, there's a guy there who does a few runs during the year
  12. Rare earth magnets are the strong ones, you can get these form ebay, one of the few things ebay is good for Armor builds here
  13. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/6-anh-stunt-and-hero/
  14. Nice, I managed to find a glasses maintenance kit which contained a plastic magnifying glass and managed to grind it to suit the size
  15. Awesome work and congrats on approval, the first of many I hope ;D
  16. You have got to do some research, this is the main part of any costume. Glue top to back then add the front, E6000 glue is used as you can remove the pieces if needed with this glue..
  17. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  18. Research is the key, glue, magnets, clamps --------------- Have a look at some of the NE builds, they are a 3 piece lid
  19. Looking good, flipping those tube stripes to the right sides would have been more awesome
  20. I also can't see the button, PC using IE9, prefer using this browser so won't be changing to another
  21. A nice build just a couple of things, your under suit seems really baggy around the back of your legs, also you should try to adjust your belt so it sits better. TD clips could have done to be closer to the caps but not a problem for approval. also the cover piece shouldn't have rounded the corners. Belt boxes could do to come in a little more. Lastly you have left a bit too much material on the front plastic belt, could do with taking some more off. Good luck with approval
  22. If you could post a few photo's it would be helpful. Most of this hobby is research, have a look at some of the other helmet builds, they will be of a great help.
  23. Here you go
  24. Don't get discouraged, it's all worth it in the end, the public will never know if something is out of place, just get those approval pics sorted first
