  1. I used a Dremel to start then sandpaper wrapped around some wood for the finer adjustments, I just take a little off at a time, I mark with a pencil where I think it needs trimming, it is time consuming but worth it in the end
  2. They look pretty good, if you go for EIB or Centurion you will need inner drop boxes, these help stop the boxes wanting to flip back as they end up flush with the belt at the back , you can see the inner boxes below
  3. I found the same with mine, amazing what another set of eyes can see. Good luck with the photo's hope to see you approved soon
  4. Looking good, you do seem to have a bit of a twist in the knee ammo pack, not sure if its just the photo, I had to give mine a little heat then glue in postion. You have some writting showing on the left side of your chest, make sure this is not showing when you go for approval. Try a little foam behind your knee to keep your sniper plate away from your thigh. Nearly there
  5. Same as your other applications, just the shoulder strap, good luck with approval
  6. Only can see the shoulder strap same as your stunt application, good luck with approval
  7. Think you are on the verge with the tube stripes, see what the DO says. Just have a look at your shoulder straps, the right one looks a bit off Also your brow trim seems a little low for stunt verion. Good luck with approval
  8. Love the new recent gallery imagaes column just added to the website, nice work all involved
  9. Had to quickly look at my lid, thought I had left a hole out LOL
  10. Wow mic tips where pretty bad on that photo too, one was nearly pointing sideways. The triangle just makes the frown, may have to just trim out that last hole, looks like it is painted over now, maybe not mine only has 4 on each side trimmed out You must have read my mind, was just going to make comment LOL. Gap on your arms looks so much better, well done for putting in the extra work, all worth it in the end. Good luck with approval , I doubt it will be too long now
  11. A photo would be good to see what you mean, you may of had not enough strapping, it is normal to use elastic so it gives when walking
  12. That list is getting smaller, now about those teeth LOL
  13. Looking good you will need some close up photos of your helmet, bit hard to make out
  14. Looking good you will need some close up photos of your helmet, bit hard to make out
  15. Looking good you will need some close up photos of your helmet, bit hard to make out
  16. Looking much better, btw any trimmed pieces you can use a bit of 400 grit sandpaper just to take the sharpness away. Now just see what the DO says about your sniper plate, you may not need to change it. Good luck with approval
  17. The teeth look much better. Here is a link to some tube stripes you can print then cut out and use as a template http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/14867-tube-stripe-masking-templates/ . I also would recomend building to EIB or even Centurion standards from the start, truly there is not that much extra work to do and as one who took this road and went from basic approval to EIB then to Centurion in under a week it was so rewarding. Keep up the good work
  18. Mine is ATA and not a problem, just left about an inch extra and the pressure holds it firm, it could also be the way people have trimmed their openings perhaps.
  19. I meant to type RT but put ATA. I was also thinking of using the abs sludge method but I will be doing a trial first. If all else fails and the fill is noticeable I had thought of painting all the teeth white first then the grey over the top, as there is a ridge outside the teeth I don't think the white would really show up much. Will keep and eye on your build and see how you go, good luck
  20. Going well there trooper, have you checked with using the ATA helmet if the last two teeth gaps have to be filled, I wasn't sure and I will be making a hero converion for my ATA build later so I can troop as either stunt or hero
  21. Sorry I had deleted history but must of still been in cashe, no photos now. Shame as his updates had been good and was on the right track for approval
  22. Working ok for me, tried a refresh and still there, may have something to do with location
  23. Looking good, just try to square the corners of the teeth a bit more, I used some small files on mine
  24. I'm stumped now, from june this year until december I pretty much covered what costuming I had hoped to finish, 2 x E11's, a DLT-17, a T-21, stormtrooper armor, EIB and Ceturion approval, 6 months of absolute pleasure, ok there was some pain inbetween LOL, shame this wasn't for last year. So 2013, I do plan on a hero conversion so I can troop as either, also I have not met any of the members from my local garrison, I have not done my first troop, I have not brought pleasure and happiness to many wearing my armor so there are a few things to do. Next costume, imperial officer is in the back of my mind, I would like to see a Sandrooper next to my Stormtrooper manequin but that would need some saving first. I am helping a friend with a Leia costume so I can escort her to the cells LOL. I think I need a bit more planning of the year ahead, some quiet reflections over a cold beverage perhaps, 41 deg c outside at the moment, can't sew my hero neck seel the sweat is dripping off my nose
