  1. Well done everything is looking much better, the sniper plate should follow the angle on the top sides of the shin so it covers them, just looks like they are too low in the photo's, may just be how they where taken. Bottom of your biceps still need a trim, can see a ridge on the bottom of them. Leave it up to the DO to decide on the fine details, good luck with approval and again well done on the improvements
  2. Could use the cut off piece, trim it and then re-use it as the rivet cover, this would be a nice how to mod
  3. I am glad the requirements were changed as I also like the look of a clean armor and boots, if you want to look dirty become a Sandtrooper LOL
  4. Looking good there trooper, just a couple of things, should try to lift and rotate your thighs a little, sniper plate does not follow your shin very well could do with adjusting slightly, you have two different gaps between the caps on your TD also there should be a gap between the caps and clips, 1/8th inch, need some paint on your knee rivets, looks like the bottom of your biceps need a bit more trimming, I must agree also that your holster is not the best but this may not stop your approval. Just a few adjustments and you will be there, good luck
  5. I cut my rubber longer than needed then the pressure of the extra rubber holds it in place. E6000 should hold it if it is too loose
  6. It amazes me each time I re-watch ANH how many things I see which I never did before. The guy that bangs his head on the blast door is a classic, you can even here the DONK lol
  7. Well done trooper welcome to the ranks, the extra detail was worth it
  8. Looking good just a couple of things, no forearm return edge photo, TD clips should be closer to the ends 1/8 inch gap, you shouldn't paint the rivet on cod piece, cover strips could be rounded on corners and there is a big gap between biceps and forearms, try to reduce this a little. A few tweaks and you will be there
  9. Great work, congrats on putting in the extra effort, well done
  10. Have you tried here for clips, if he has run out he may be persuaded to make some more -----------
  11. Every little bit adds up in the end, keep up the good work
  12. Everything is looking great but now you have a close up of your belt I noticed your holster straps are postitioned too high, rivets should be lower on the belt, think you will get pulled up on this. Going well hope you find a way to fix your knee ammo boxes, abs paste works well to fill holes, you fill then sand with different grades of sandpaper last being 1200 then use a good polish. Good luck your armor is really looking nice now
  13. You're doing a great job keep it up, no doubt you will get there soon and you will be happy you made the small changes
  14. All the best for the festive season ------------
