  3. I tried a similar setup but couldn't put up with all the extra noise at conventions, great for small troops though
  4. Updated my baton to look a little more accurate, also added a speaker jack to run to an Aker Amp, should be nice and loud at conventions Also had a fellow member (Chivo) print a SE-44C for me so started work on that, of course it had to have electronics and a speaker jack.
  5. Changed the coloring on the main shaft to look a little more screen accurate. Also added a speaker jack to the handle so I can run it to an Aker Amp much like my blaster builds, going to be nice and loud at conventions now Still waiting on the upgraded vacformed baton, I have lots of electronics ready to go for that one .
  6. I'd send them another email, usually they are pretty quick with the helmets and most time have them in stock, armor is the long wait, think it's around 9 months.
  7. Looking forward to the build
  8. Good luck with the role Eric
  9. TK85421, if you look at the numbers on a phone the letters are 85=TK and 421 doesn't need explaining 85421 I started a thread some years ago http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22807-what-does-your-tk-id-represent/
  10. Nice work again everyone
  11. So sad to hear the news, I had the pleasure to speak with Jen on several occasions, she will be sorely missed, buckets off, RIP Jenny
  12. I prefer foam, I have mine held in with Velcro and I can remove if it needs a wash
  13. I cut enough off the foot until I could pull the thighs over. Still works fine once the boots are on.
  14. I definitely found more control with a heat gun, it's a trial and error procedure with ABS, it does take practice and I did try a lot of test pieces before attempting to heat armor.
  15. I used E6000 glue to attach mine, because of the way it sat I had to use a little heat from a heat gun to make it sit better. If you have never used a heat gun before I would suggest practice first on scraps, it's easy to go too far with heat. I've not used hot water before but I've heard others have had good results.
  16. I did very similar http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20893-how-to-recess-press-studs/?hl=snaps#entry257877 And to make them hold http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28934-howto-make-snaps-hold/?hl=snaps
  17. Was an old torch, just the right size and wasn't bothered by the heat as it was aluminum
  18. I had a similar way http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20893-how-to-recess-press-studs/?hl=snaps#entry257877also how to make snaps hold http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28934-howto-make-snaps-hold/?hl=snaps
  19. Great work, loved it, hope you don't mind if I share
  20. Nice work they came out great
  21. Decided since I have a bad neck to try one of the Anovos plastic helmets, it arrived a few weeks ago, a few differences but overall a nice addition to the collection. Finally got around to adding some fans to the Anovos plastic helmet. Removed the flimsy plastic head liner and replaced it with foam.
