  1. 2nd and just as painful as the first
  2. New today, put this one together on the computer about 6 months ago, finally saved up enough
  3. That's what I did but you still need to do a little sanding on the outside of the teeth, then polish, then you would have to re-paint, my hero lid mod is here
  4. As above and if you are going to buy decals use trooperbay's Dave M decals, they are made to look hand painted
  5. Holster done, now just have to make another belt as it attaches in the middle of the belt unlike other holsters.
  6. Thanks Germain, yes it was a 4x20 scope, it's an aftermarket piece from China $8 from evil bay (inc postage), all I had to do was use some acetone to remove the white makers name from the top of the scope. For $8 it wasn't worth me trying to make one, I know it's cheating but it does look good. Shame it has to be used back to front
  7. A friend put an order in two weeks ago and it was only shipped yesterday. I gather it will be another two weeks for postage
  8. I would presume trimming in the affected area may help. I am one of the lucky ones, still to experience and armor bite, or a top of the thigh bite
  9. Plaster would look a different color, you would be best making the abs paste, it's only scraps of abs cut fine then mixed with an acetone, put masking tape behind the hole first. you will still have to sand and polish the hole once filled.
  10. I don't have a lot to do with molding, it's hard to get a lot of stuff here in Australia. I have a fellow squad member with a 3D printer who I will be catching up with soon, see what I can have printed to get the blaster really looking professional. There are a few SE-14R's in resin being sold around the empire, details I found in some of the other build threads
  11. It's ok I've been getting that a lot lately Got to make some more room on my arsenal board
  12. Must have been the day for mail to arrive, scope fitted and we are just about done, a few fine paint details to go.
  13. Very nice, if you could use dome head screws it would be even more awesome
  14. A trick I used was to cut a small piece if rubber hose in a slant so one side has a taper, you can then put this behind the hovi then rotate, as you do it changes the angle oh the hovi. I used a black silicon just from the hardware store, some you super glue, even E6000
  15. There are so many build threads showing the process, you have to do some research
  16. I have helped a few with the original bracket system but also use the snap and elastic for more support. Some RS squad members have had issues with the brackets causing cracks, yes ATA is thicker but didn't want to run the risk so we just use original bracket system for show
  17. Do you want to look crispy clean or dirty. You could build a TK first and change it to a TD with a swap out of some parts and getting it dirty, bit hard to do it the other way. Good luck with your decision.
  18. Looking good, just make sure there is enough gap on your clips to slide over the belt
  19. Never had a problem myself, get an answer the same day if not the next
