  1. You could try to contact the maker of the armor, they may be able to help with extra cover strip material. There are businesses who supply ABS pieces but there can be variances in color from one manufacturer to another.
  2. You can just make out the ridge left around the eyes, I would file out a little more in the corners
  3. I used pliers to cut off the excess then applied some silicon over the tops to cover the sharp ends.
  4. Here's mine for comparison http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20585-tk-anh-ata-stunt-helmet-build/
  5. I sand behind, also sand a scrap of ABS and use E6000 glue to told the pieces together, works well.
  6. Nice work once again
  7. I started on my helmet first, if you can trim ears you can do anything
  8. Fabric and rubber available here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31019-imperial-gaskets-more-upgrades/
  9. Nice work
  10. It's an Australian brand paint. Acrylic auto primer/spray putty, paint and clear coat. Can be sanded and buffed for better shine. Not sure how you would go with sanding Rustoleum as I've never tried
  11. Most use Rustoleum, I've had massive problems with that paint so I used automotive acrylic paint in spray cans, worked well for me and can be buffed.
  12. While waiting for my ATA armor to arrive I started a few projects, made an E-11 upgraded Hasbro, a pipe build E-11, a DLT-19 and a T21, still no armor I started making binders and offering them to the squad. As all these builds had been completed in such a short space of time I soon became known as the squad quartermaster and just as in the Bond movies this got shortened to Q. Never had a nickname before being part of the 501st so I'm pretty chuffed to have one now.
  13. Looks like Anovos, but I could be wrong
  14. Cod, glove/fingers, shins, boot covers, there are a few differences
  15. Thanks for posting this Sly, has worked well for a few of us in the past
  16. Congrats once again Trooper and welcome to the 501st
  17. Have come across that a few times, you can purchase a new battery from the Icomm website http://store.voicebooster.com/replacement-icomm-battery/but it's too expensive for us guys over here for postage. Got this tip form Sly from the Redbacks and I've fitted a few with a AA 3.7V battery, works just as well and as it's mounted on the outside we can remove for charging. We use the same batteries in our blasters too so always have them on hand.
  18. For ABS plastic I use E6000, takes 24hrs to fully dry but you can separate if you make a mistake or resize, also cleans up by rubbing off.
  19. Nice work, can't wait to get my hands on an ABS version
  20. Name, screen name or nickname, I'm happy with whatever
  21. Congratulations
  22. I tried the force once, lucky there's a cream for it
