  1. Great work, keep it up
  2. Hello I couldn't access your photo, you need to use the direct image tag from imgur in your posts. Looking forward to seeing the progress good lcuk
  3. I think a sandy made this:
  4. Really depends how big your vac from machine is, how many pieces you can fit in that area at one time, how thick the sheet is, how far it has to pull down, what thickness you require once formed, so many variants.
  5. Great news on the BBB, personally I used screws with nuts, just allows you to adjust if needed, very hard to remove rivets one they are placed there.
  6. Also advertised on eBay ---------------
  7. This may be of help https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12972-howto-make-a-return-edge-on-armor-using-a-heat-sealing-iron/
  8. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  9. Great advice
  10. Agreed, so many great images have been lost with the photobucket fiasco, research is the key and looks like you are doing well, keep up the good work.
  11. I have thin arms and had to add foam to the inside of mine to hold them in position and stop rotation. I decided to add Velcro to the foam and the inside of the armor just so I could remove and wash, it is amazing how sweaty you can get after a long day of trooping. Excess E6000 glue with normally come off with a rub of a thumb or a rag.
  12. Nice work, good luck with approval
  13. Great news, nothing better than a BBB. Hopefully you have spent the wait time researching, I'm sure you will do fine. Are you planning on building to EIB or Centurion, not a lot of extra work really and very satisfying receiving approval for those levels of accuracy, have a look through the EIB and Centurion sections to see what is needed. Anyway good luck with the build, looking forward to the progress.
  14. TD on the Executioner as well as the full black end cap has a small area of black on the side
  15. Coming along nicely
  16. A member in my former garrison actually made plugs to fit inside to get a nice straight edge, a lot of work but came out a treat
  17. Nice work
  18. With making return edges you can use a small piece of wood on either side of the edge to clamp together while cooling to give you a nice flat finish. Coming along nicely.
  19. I love hearing someone is too busy researching to build, nice work :D. Really depends from armor to armor how the pieces sit and go together, looks like you have done well getting them aligned. Good luck you are going great.
  20. Disregard previous codpiece comparison as it won't be a L1 requirement. Move along.
  21. Ok not sure why you suggested I post the comparison then (walks away confused)
  22. It seems more and more builds are being done off forum also on Facebook with a lot of the more recent armor makers kits, I've done a quick search and apart from in the higher level sections I can't seem to find any builds, that's not to say there isn't any, hopefully someone else will chime in. I think you will find most armor is pretty much the same when it comes to building though so shouldn't really be an issue. Good luck hope to see the build underway soon
  23. Just an update with the build, I try to build as accuratly as I can, after noticing the differences in the codpiece between TFA and TLJ (Below) I decide to try to come up with something similar. Side by side I still wanted to tweak the cup section to get a flatter look but also keeping the curve so came up with version II Side view And comparison with my TFA Anovos
