  1. If it's the same as TKC the rivets are spaced a lot wider than a Hero version and also are on both sides of the belt, this is at basic for TKC Also TD has two versions with TKC and neither allow ANH style. I must admit I've not fully dove into this version but I'd gather should be TKC styled.

  3. Looking forward to seeing your build thread soon. For paint I was lucky enough to find a local auto shop had a base white which matched the Anovos helmet perfectly. I do prefer using acrylic automotive paint in spray can, dries quickly so you can apply multiple coats in a day and can be sanded and buffed. I've used Rustoleum before for another project but found inconsistency in spray from one can to the next. Can't go wrong with ABS and I know KB has been doing some updates to his moulds. Make sure you have a look through some of the build threads in regards to strengthening some areas, will save you some grief in the long run. Good luck.
  4. This has come up recently and just bumping in case it's not been looked into, the side member profiles are showing EIB cohorts as numbers and not TK variants, I first noticed it a few weeks ago.
  5. No templates as such, not very many builds here on the forums unfortunately. Basically most seem to just follow reference images and mask accordingly, there is a nice one from this thread not step by step though, one thing his tube stripes should be flipped so the fall at the front is greater at the top (back ////// front)
  6. There isn't an all in exact spacing thread to go to, I found this page useful
  7. Generally it doesn't matter if your belt is attached to the armor, that being said a photo of too to confirm it's attachments would help
  8. I find I don't have as much movement in my FOTK and looking down is not as easy as in my OTTK. Adding some photos of what you are talking about could help, many of us use Imgur, once you upload the photo just copy and paste the "direct link" into your post.
  9. Build to your speed it's not a race and always check the gallery section when in doubt . Here's another useful thread (you may want to check those ab/kidney rivet spacings) Good luck and looking forward to seeing the progress
  10. No you have to reapply for EIB as an ANH Hero and supply all info and full photos again. Helmet, belt and holster are different. A few photo's the DO's will require Close up of the sides and front of your sniper plate. Close up of rivets inside and outside of thigh ammo strip A couple of things you could improve but not required: Blasters generally do not have weathering on the T tracks or handle as these where believed to be plastic so should be all black in appearance. Ab plate should not have rounded corners Ab/kidney rivets should be closer to the edge
  11. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  12. I used gloss black on my helmet. No you don't have to cut the chest vent, stickers or paint is fine. Looking forward to the progress
  13. Nice work, looking good, hope to see you approved very soon
  14. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  15. Looking good, you may want to straighten the brow trim, it's on a slight slant. You may want to remove a little of the paint from the gum area of the teeth. Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. Also clean up the black lines on the ears.

  16. It's a two step process, you have to apply for EIB first, once approved you can then go on to applying for Centurion. Also have a read of the EIB and Centurion guidelines Good luck and looking forward to seeing your applications.
  17. Hello and welcome, not sure if this helps but a Google search shows a few suppliers, not sure what your customs regulations are like on importing paint https://www.google.com/search?ei=ByHnXKz1NcPbrQHQ6LqQCA&q=rv+30+electric+blue&oq=rv-30+elec&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0i22i30l4.745988.749071..750374...0.0..0.222.2080.0j3j7......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71j35i39j0i131j0j0i30j0i22i10i30.EowuVgEi1Oc There is also the option of taking the color code into an automotive paint supplier and have them mix up the paint
  18. Looking forward to seeing the full kit. Incidentally will they be offering the TLJ cod variant?
  19. You don't want to down size too much as you want the overall look to match, I have pretty thin arms and added a few blocks of foam inside to stop them moving around, works great and the glove takes care of any gaps in the front of the forearms.
  20. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  21. Many of us do a little trimming once we start trooping, good luck and remember to keep taking fluids
  22. Just one reason for using makers from the vetted sellers list
