  8. Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key with this hobby, good luck and hope to see some BBB photos soon
  9. That is very weird with the glue not holding, this stuff normally would support an elephant, I know there was talk of some knock off branded E6000 around which had was of a lesser quality. I am also wondering about the age of the glue, I had a tube I kept forgetting to use and over time it went a little opaque and was not as strong as other tubes I have used. A thread on the issues of E6000 https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49246-e6000-original-vs-fake/ Some web info on knock off branded E6000 https://www.e6000.com.au/e6000-blog/did-i-buy-genuine Coming along nicely.
  10. Very nice, I've been using the magnet closure for years and works great
  11. I think you will find that thread had been archived once the First Order Battle Group section was created and superseded by
  12. I've used mine for air travel but it's just a bit too big for transport to some of our smaller troops and for up stairs so I use a suit case and helmet bag most of the time.
  13. I find that with a lot of 3D parts not having the strength. A fellow member who printed a few DLT19's ended up hollowing the barrel in places and using a clear acrylic tube inside just to help with strength, but wasn't cheap.
  14. Very nice, came out a treat
  15. Be interesting to see if anyone could actually find a dual colored elastic, I must admit I've not run across any in my travels.
  16. If you have room bring the ab/cod upwards, will give you more room at the top of your thighs. Going well.
  17. I'm not totally up on R` armor but adjusting the top of the belt looks like a good idea. I have never noticed that stepped area on the lower belt front before, must have been for mobility as the lower image doesn't show any steps. Appears R1 armor splits just like all other armor too going on that top second pic
  18. Going to be a pain but I think you may be asked to change all those images which show the drop boxes in the wrong place
  19. Hello and welcome aboard, I think you will find that Spec Ops are working on that costume, there CRL (costume reference library) is being built at the moment https://forum.specops501st.com/topic/4155-star-wars-battlefront-phase-0-dark-trooper-crl-discussion/ You will also find a whole area here for the Dark Troopers https://forum.specops501st.com/forum/31-dark-troopers/ There are a few builds on the way, this is a nice one https://forum.specops501st.com/topic/6268-phase-zero-dark-trooper-build/page/4/ Good luck with your build
  20. A couple of things you may want to address before the DO's get here: You will need to move your drop boxes to the ends of the belt The drop boxes dangle from the sides of the front plastic belt (ammo belt) via white straps and are aligned under the plastic tabs of the ammo belt. TD screws should be black Clips shall be attached with slotted type, flat or dome top style screws, and be black (two per clip) Good luck with your application
  21. Nice work, You may also need to provide a few more photos Inside connectors on your thigh ammo strip rivets Also the DO's like to see both sides and front of the sniper plate One thing you could do for accuracy would be to move your TD screws, also the end of the brackets next to the panel do not get rounded corners, but not a requirement Good luck
  22. Our detachment leader posted this a few days ago on the Captain Cardinal Black Series Figure thread here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49693-captain-cardinal-black-series/ "I have spoken with the LMO's (legion membership liaison's) and they are ok with this to go ahead. There are a few things they would like to see in your thread with regards to research. 1. TFA helmet is what the LMO's are leaning towards as this is a TFA era character that was gone before TLJ (yeah I know Hasbro used the TLJ helmet, but it's a conversation you and I can have) 2. They would like to see research from cross-referencing as cardinal has a description in the book and now the action figure that should take care of any parts that are different from the standard Storm troopers."
  23. Nice tweak, I may have to give it a go when I get some spare time
  24. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks
