IG-41985 ANH Stunt TK Build Thread! (AM Armor)
gmrhodes13 replied to Artooritoo's topic in ANH Build Threads
Looks good, just the shoulder straps on the ends. Some other AM L3 approved Posted December 20, 2018 · IP Mandatory Information Armor = Armor Master 2.0 Helmet= Armor Master 4.5 Blaster= Quest Design EIB Thread: Optional Height = 6'1" Weight = 235 lb Boots = Imperial Boots Canvas belt = TrooperBay Hand Plates = AM 2.0 Hard Electronics= Ukswraths hovi mic and fans Neck Seal = Darman Holster = Darman Adjustments from EIB Feedback: Helmet frown, painted the edge after the uncut tooth. Got wire and created new brackets for the chest piece edge that are 1/2 inch longer so the chest sits lower. Added outer edge elastic straps to hold the butt plate flush with the lower back. Tapered the forearms around the wrist by 2cm. Any more and I'd have a hard time getting my hands through. Trimmed the front thigh cover strip to be 20mm instead of 30mm. Used the 2nd belt cover, trimmed the corners less than the first and added the raised rivet covers vs the sunk covers on the old one. AB button plates, square the edges and touch up the button paint. Adjust left forearm to bicep strap a cm or two longer to line up better with right. Armor Photos Full Body Front Full Body Back Full Right Full Left Right Side Detail Left SIde Detail Armor Details Gloves DL GUIDE: CHEST/BACK PLATE (Including shoulder connections) ANH Stunt/Hero ESB Note: While some troopers like to keep a significant amount of the return edges on the arm opening areas of the back and chest plates, as seen in the reference images below they were actually minimal for the most part, but leaving them on will not affect approval at levels 2 or 3. Chest and back shall be connected with a white fabric or preferably elastic strap at the shoulders. As seen in the images from screen used armor below, this ideally must be approximately 2 inches (48 mm) wide. Shoulder bridges For Level 2, no visible rivets are present. For Level 3, they shall free float in the back, be glued in the front and need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric/elastic chest/back connection. Ideally this strap should be 1/4 inch (5 mm) wide, and connect over the tab at the top of the back armor. The bridge should also lay flush against the back. NOTE: As seen in the photos below, there are no large tabs on the rear of the shoulder bridges. This is not specifically mentioned in the CRL, but removing them is highly recommended if possible. -

File Name: Star Wars Themed Night Light/Lamp Designer: Big Dog Custom Creations Last Update: 1/09/2025 File/Link: https://www.printables.com/model/1400074-star-wars-themed-night-lightlamp Description: This is a simple night light/lamp with the Star Wars theme. If you have a printer capable of multicolor then you can use the paint function in your slicer to color the base and the insert, otherwise you the filament can be swapped out during the print to get the colors. The Main logo is designed separately to print flat and swap the colors. Then just insert the logo for that finished look. It also is compatible with the 2.8in. LED puck lights. Use the puck light instead of the LED strip to use with batteries. Also I have created a set of instructions to help with assembly. Have a specific theme you would like to see, then drop me a note and follow me. If I get enough requests I can put something together in that theme. Thanks for your interest. 3D printing settings Body Parts: Material: Any Infill: 10-15% Supports; Yes, recommended Bottom Panel: Print face down after adding color to the image for best results Globe: Material: Any Material Color: White, Cool White, Warm White Infill: 100% Layers: 0.16 or 0.2mm Supports; No Parts needed: Screws: 3 - M3x8mm Socket Set Screws 5 - M3x8 Button Head Screws LED style: LED Strip: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098DVZZDQ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4&th=1 LED Puck Type Light: LED Puck Insert: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KWXCI3Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Rubber Feet: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XBMY5WJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_pr Images:

DohF4 Requesting Pre-Approval Review (RS Propmasters)
gmrhodes13 replied to DohF4's topic in Request TK Pre-Approval
Desktop still gives both options. BBCode is only needed for forums that use PHPbb (legion forum and my local), the image tags aren't needed on this forum Nice work, you could address a few areas, but nothing glaring for basic approval (except left glove). Glove not fully inside forearm, left arm. I would even out the gaps between your wrist/handplates and the forearms you do have a lot of glove showing. Drop boxes should align with the ends of the plastic belt Belt corners should meet the width of the belt Albeit for L3 Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. Drop box references Belt corner references When adding shims to the side the rivets should be positioned on the ab and shim, not kidney For L3 A single visible seam line is present. As you can see below I filled the seam then sanded and polished, not the position of the rivets Also L3 Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. Belt may be a little tight, you are pulling in the bottom of the kidney and the sides are angled, also pushing back the posterior, V tabs may help With a heat gun or oven you bend strips of ABS plastic into the shape of a V, only glue one side and the other remains free to allow movement when you bend. Just helps stop the butt plate from pushing back from the back plate. Took just a little too much off the corner of the knee ammo strip Ultimately it's your GML (garrison membership liaison) who will be reviewing your application. FISD looks after L2 EIB and L3 Centurion requirements, with just a few tweaks though you should be good to apply for those levels. Good luck -

File Name: Stormtrooper Articulated - Multi Color Print Designer: Daniel.MacCabe Last Update: 28/08/2025 File/Link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1739801-tk-013?from=search#profileId-1848750 Description: This remix is primarily a detailed paint job. It'll give your 4 color AMS a workout, but the result is pretty cool. There is also a bit of changed geometry: the original omitted the little tube all stormtroopers have on the back of their belts. I added a modestly detailed one based on movie prop pictures. I think it's a nice little addition. PSA: The frame very much resembles a stock dummy 13, but it differs slightly, especially the neck and kneecaps. Like dummy 13, the frame works better printed in PETG. Any PLA will work for the rest of the model. Images:

2025 Legion Web Infrastructure Fundraising Drive Thread here: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=115909 Troopers! The clock is ticking — in TWO MONTHS we run out of money to keep the Legion’s websites online. This is critical. Join the fundraising drive NOW to keep the Legion websites going! Many of us think of the forums as our online home, but our Legion’s web infrastructure is so much more. Thanks to your support, we’re able to provide: - The Legion forums for discussion and connection - Our public website and API (used by many units for their own sites) - Event request system and join form for new members - The member database that keeps our roster up to date - The CRL (Costume Reference Library) wiki as well as the new CRL system that will be coming online in the near future These tools are the backbone of our worldwide organization, keeping us connected, organized, and welcoming to new members. The biggest costs come from maintaining the member database, forum database, and CRL wiki—without them, our ability to function as a Legion would be severely impacted. If we don't have funding for the web infrastructure, we risk losing access to the member database, event requests, CRLs, and the ability to approve new members. It would affect every unit and every member. Some more information from the web team at this post here: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=115632 DONATE TODAY! https://www.501st.com/donate/ One-time gifts and recurring monthly support are always welcome and helps us plan for the future. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference! We also have some incentives for troopers who participate in this fundraising drive, more on that here! https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=115908 "Hoda" | Eric H. | TK-77520 | Legion Merchandising and Branding Officer

Sha Sha's (Slow) KB FOTK Build for Short Troopers
gmrhodes13 replied to shashachu's topic in TFA Build Threads
I have elastic from my biceps to shoulder straps similar to OTTK. Here you can see the hook areas for using the stetch bands like other new era costume builds. Your backplate is angling backwards. Also ab and belt on an angle. You may also want to trim down the rear of the forearms a little as they do touch. I would trim your shoulders down, they do look a little large. -
Nice work

ABS paste can discolour a little, depends on curing time (thinner is better) as well as any foreign pieces in the shaving, also you are sanding through a gloss plastic so it will dull. In the past I've mixed up some waterbased acrylic paint very similar to the armor color and dab on any areas where paste looks discoloured
