Note AM/Dave's armor is made for the larger frame/height, 5' 11" you have lots of options

You can find a lot of the sounds here: Also here: https://github.com/Protonerd/FX-BlasterOS/tree/master/Sounds -
Yes at times photos are used that are the best on hand, not actual screen references, we see this with a lot of CRL's, even ROTJ has an incorrect TD image on that CRL

Thank you for your kind words

I've not seen that many V tabs used before, using one on either end is enough. With regards to the original brackets some use these just for show, remove the elastic and add the snap/elastic system, seems to hold the armor together a bit better, could also be the elastic used, there are two types available, one is a lot stronger/thicker than the other.

Check again once you are wearing your arms as the shoulder bells can pull this elastic sideways and will show if too wide
-
Your shoulder strapping looks a little wide, just make sure the shoulder straps cover it
-
Just check the overall length of the pipe as you appear to have a large gap between the end caps and control panel and may help to cover the holes if you trim down a little. Also not holes are closer to the ends of the metal clips and they don't have rounded corners at the control panel side

Hello and welcome aboard, you may find this thread helpful on your journey

Nice work, Normally the forearm elastic is just on the top inner sides, helps to rotate inwards once you have moved your arms, if you have directly on top they can move either side when at rest

Nice work, great to see double snaps, you may want to move your shoulder snaps a bit closer to the end of the plates as if they are too low it will cause your elastic to sit lower between the chest and back plate leaving a bit gup between the elastic and shoulder straps, but you can wait for strapping and see how you go, Forearm elastic is better placed towards the top of the arms, helps to stop rotation when arms come back to rest In this image you may notice the strapping is between the top of the forearm and sides -
Not sure what stores you have in the US, locally we can source it at a few places, rubber/foam suppliers, also at haberdashery stores as they use foam for stuffing chairs and stools, the yellow soft foam is what I normally use.
