  1. You will find many items may be the same as other game versions, like the belt TKC has no center button cover as well as Death trooper, Shock , Incinerator One thing to watch is the ab plate, it may take a little work to be game accurate, note the ab plate looks molded (this came up recently in command in regards to incorrect ROTJ ab plate details) it also has the border (molded area) around the ab plate ROTJ CRL has this image showing separate ab plate and border For ROTJ it should be like these which is still different from the BF2 CFO armor no raised area around the large ab plate just like references Note the game version Shock trooper is also wrong in the CRL but the game reference has this sane border (molded area) CRL image separate Reference ANH would be better suited for this build with rotated large ab plate Looking forward to seeing this build progress.
  2. Hello and welcome back trooper
  3. On a couple of builds there have been no room for a speaker, I normally add a 3.5 av jack directly to the speaker wires, you can then run a cable from your amp/chest, down your arm, out at the wrist then plugs into the blaster. Works out really well for conventions as it's nice and loud
  4. A few threads on the subject Another thread here And here Most of our local troopers who have purchased a RS kit have gone for ABS Also an interesting read here online
  5. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the build
  6. Force is strong with Brisbane cricket fans, Queensland Australia About The Holsh Experience In 2017, eighty friends celebrated a 40th birthday at the Ashes test in Brisbane. All were dressed in Stormtrooper kits designed specifically for the Aussie summer. The birthday boy, Holsh, was dressed as Darth Vader. They called themselves the Gabbatroopers. Four years on, the army of Troopers is more than 500 strong and 15 other characters have made guest appearances. The group has grown organically, growing through the word of those that have experienced these magical days. Wonderful people creating 'larger than life' memories. https://www.holsh.com.au/gabbatroopers2024 https://www.facebook.com/gabbatroopers/ The 6th year anniversary of the Gabbatroopers is upon us in 2024! And what better way to celebrate than at our first ever Gabbatroopers pink ball day/night test! The Gabbatooters and all your favourite Star Wars characters will be there! DATE Friday 26 January 2024 10:00 AM - 9:30 PM (UTC+10) https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1064163?fbclid=IwAR2My7yl46d-6HZ6cXWh47wM-SYyMZAzJSZNc5GDfuheDZWXmXJT-aaUbNQ What is the Gabba? What is cricket? What is Aussie Rules Football?
  7. You may this helpful When in doubt check the reference gallery https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/19-ottk-reference/ There are no silly questions, only silly mistakes for not asking a question, don't be afraid to ask Good luck with the build
  8. Appears there is detailing on the gloves too
  9. With changing out a helmet and a few other pieces you could do both Great spreadsheet on the differences between versions https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view

  11. Hello and welcome aboard, research is the key and sounds like you are off to a good start. Looking forward to seeing a build thread from you soon
  12. Hello and welcome aboard, you can request higher access if a legion member
  13. Very nice job indeed, something that may get picked if you ever aim for higher levels is the hengstler is on a slight angle and could up a touch, it normally just covers the scope details. References
  14. Was a while ago since I modded that one bit I think I used power from the momentary switch and the other directly from the battery pack, uses a hibright torch LED, also added a resister.
  15. I've used one of these in the past, has a nice small board and the separate momentary switch is a bonus, some of the other Hasbro blasters have the switch integrated on the board and they are quite large.

  17. Crossing a few things off my bucket list
  18. Nice work trooper, Looks like someone is up for a trooping milestone award, you can request them here More info on the program here
  19. You may want to add some side shims to reduce the gaps between the abdomen and kidney (although this is for higher levels) OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed.
  20. Looking forward to seeing the progress. A few links you may find helpful Some references of screen helmets, many had gaps
  21. Problem with printed plastic is it melts when you try to drill or cut it. For any moulded/plastic blasters I sometimes add just a push switch into the trigger just so I don't have worry about the surrounding area and hinge/spring. All you need then is a hole all the way through for wiring, then a square cut section for the switch to sit in, just glue in place.
  22. Much sanding I see in front of you Good luck, I hate 3D printed prep work
  23. As it's your kidney sticking outwards on both sided gluing tabs on the kidney should help them sit behind the abdomen, make sure you rough up both areas with coarse sandpaper before applying E6000 glue and let dry for 48 - 72 hours so it's fully cured. You also need to add your belt when trying fitting as the belt will help keep everything together. Personally I wouldn't do anything more than tabs until you try on other armor pieces, chest and back can make a difference when strapped to the kidney and abdomen.
