Personally I think you should be ok for base clearance with the brow trim, not mentioned until L2, but entirely up to your GML Brow trim should be positioned ¼" above the eyes. Black series Reference

You should be ok if you fulfil the base requirements The Black Series helmet is approvable if modified to meet the level 1 CRLs At the end of the day your GML makes the final call so you could check with him/her/them/they. Here is another great build

You will find a lot of "approximate" used in the CRL's a lot of time to cater for what is available now as well as differences between imperial and metric. If you are ever in doubt and you can't wait for a response as you are in a building groove you can always refer to the gallery areas

And when worn with the belt make sure the slips go all the way down and are not seen from below the belt. For anyone using spray glue Down Under, check the color of the glue, there are a few brands that are yellow and can look like snot (boogers), Spotlight craft spray dries clear (or did the last can I purchased)

Going for extra detail as the CRL model is a good idea, especially when others may follow and what to obtain L2 or L3. . Sheevs emporium do a lot of custom sewing, may be an option.

The only issue may be your brow trim length, it's a little short and this may change again by trimming the brow area Note the brow trim is just in the corner on top of your ear, compare with these images

I just use E6000 glue, make sure you rough up the surface first on the drop box to help the glue adhere to it. Rivets were screen accurate but can pull through the elastic, using washers helps

Definitely a mix of old and new. Lines running down from the neck is a little weird.
