  1. File Name: Tiki Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks Designer: Drew Rosa Last Update: 15/11/2025 File: https://www.printables.com/model/1481940-star-wars-tiki-lightsaber-swizzle-sticks Description: “Where island spirit meets galactic legend.” Forged in the fires of imagination and carved with the rhythm of the islands, the Tiki Saber Swizzle Collection brings together the mythology of the tropics and the mystique of the galaxy. Each hand-illustrated design reimagines an iconic lightsaber hilt as a piece of Polynesian art — adorned with bold geometric carvings, sacred symmetry, and the unmistakable energy of island craftsmanship. These swizzle sticks aren’t just drink stirrers — they’re miniature relics from a universe where surf shacks meet starships. Whether you align with the calm of the island guardians or the fire of the dark tiki temple, every saber stirs more than a cocktail — it stirs the force within your glass. Tiki Saber Swizzle Collection 1 The Classic Saber – Island Guardian Edition Inspired by the original hilt that started it all, this swizzle features clean Polynesian geometric carvings running down the handle. The balanced silhouette and tribal motifs echo the power of calm mastery — perfect for stirring a Mai Tai or guiding your way to the light side of happy hour. Vibe: Calm, balanced, classic Recommended Drink: Blue Hawaiian or Jedi Juice 2 The Skyblade – Jungle Sentinel Edition A tribute to a hero’s refined weapon, this design’s flared emitter and stacked patterning resemble temple carvings from deep island ruins. Smooth bands and sharp angles give this tiki saber a noble, disciplined energy — perfect for stirring drinks with tropical precision. Vibe: Noble, disciplined, island refined Recommended Drink: Green Melon Daiquiri or Rebel Rum Runner 3 The Crossfire Saber – Tribal Enforcer Edition Inspired by the infamous crossguard hilt, this swizzle blends fierce angular tiki motifs with a bold outline worthy of a dark tiki temple. The crossed guard arms represent both chaos and control — ideal for those who like their cocktails strong and their aesthetic fierce. Vibe: Bold, chaotic, powerful Recommended Drink: Dark Side Zombie or Smoked Pineapple Old Fashioned 4 The Dark Lord Saber – Forbidden Temple Edition Chiseled from obsidian dreams and carved with commanding tribal detail, this tiki swizzle radiates power. Its thick outline and stacked engravings channel the dark majesty of the island’s most infamous warlord. Use it to stir your drink—or assert your rule over the bar. Images:

  2. Hello and welcome for Stormtroopers we have a great thread full of helpful information Mimban troopers fall under MEPD so you may have better luck with more specific information there, Forum: https://forum.mepd.net/ CRL (costume reference library https://crls.501st.com/mepd/mimban-trooper Mimban troopers are based on the Rogue One style armor so make sure you purchase the right helmet and armor at the start. 4. Just a tip but if you add your photo links here you may attract more attention, it does get a bit difficult going to the photos and back again for leaving comments. How to add images "direct link" option, guide here Make sure you keep some trimmed material, you may need some for making ABS paste, to fill thigh seam gaps or joins if you need to add shims for extra room, I still have scraps from my 13 year old armor . Straight trimmed pieces can also be used for inner cover strips for extra strength.

  10. You may also want to sand any rough edges were the boot is touch or it will wear through the leather. Lifting the shins up a little may solve the tightness there.

I did not find one in Bambu and the ones I found in other places were complicated with lots of pieces to glue together, so I decided to make my own super simple version. The profile has both a plain single color version you have to hand paint and a multicolor AMS version. Due to the color bleed with using red (see pic), I actually prefer the hand painted one. Or you will need to increase the purge significantly. The only supports are at the very bottom where it sits on the floating disc. It is sized to just sit on top of the default floating disc that comes with the kit if you order from Bambu Labs. 15. I came up with a V tab to keep the kidney and butt plate in alignment. With a heat gun or oven you bend strips of ABS plastic into the shape of a V, only glue one side and the other remains free to allow movement when you bend. Just helps stop the butt plate from pushing back from the back plate.
  16. File Name: Tusken Raider Helmet Designer: DroidWorks Studios Last Update: 10/11/2025 File: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1978785-tusken-raider-helmet?from=search#profileId-2128371 Description: Venture into the dunes of Tatooine with this meticulously designed Tusken Raider Helmet, crafted for Star Wars enthusiasts, collectors, and serious cosplayers seeking screen-accurate detail. This 3D printable prop faithfully recreates the rugged, battle-worn visage of the iconic Sand People, complete with the signature facemask, metallic spikes, and layered wrappings (complete on your own). Each part of the helmet — including the goggle fittings, mouth vent system, and metallic tusks — has been engineered for precision and ease of assembly. The model is fully scalable for adult sizing and optimized for standard home 3D printers, with modular sections to simplify printing and post-processing. Whether displayed as a collector’s center piece or worn as part of a full cosplay, this helmet captures the essence of the desert nomad’s fierce mystique. Finish it with weathering, dry brushing, and fabric detailing to achieve the authentic, timeworn look seen on-screen. Bring the legend of the Tusken Raiders to life — starting with the mask that defines their mysterious and fearsome presence. Full build here: Images:

Need Help Ask the Deployment Officers Advance to 1500 Advanced Tactics Awards Newsletter Editor Staff List 2025 Follow FISD Larry Peterka TD-1529 passed away suddenly on October 12, 2025. Larry joined the 501st legion in 2006 and was assigned to the Old Line Garrison in Maryland/DC. His chosen armor was that of a Sandtrooper. As a cast member for the Maryland Renaissance Festival, living history re-enactor and a scout leader, his keen eye for detail and artisanal skill was evident in all aspects of his armor. Everything was spot on from the greeblies on his backpack to the dirt splotch weathering that make sandies so recognizable. He loved to troop as often as he could, especially charity events. When he could not troop, he would offer assistance, help others with their armor, lend materials or arrange for events such as visits to Camp Tomahawk to see the scouts. He also opened his home for armor parties and volunteered to get things made such as temporary tattoos to give out to kids at events. He was a great trooper, a wonderful person, and most importantly a true friend. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Condolences to his garrison, family and friends "Buckets Off" Greetings troopers, With the new CRL system update last month we've had a flurry of activity in this area. The Enoch CRL has been re-submitted for the new system and we hope to have news on this CRL soon. We have also been working on another new CRL, if you've been watching the boards you'll have seen this build progress over time. If not we hope to be able to surprise you all soon as the work on this is now almost ready for submission as well. We also have some CRL update news! The Imperial Armored Commando has been updated with new optional costume parts: Riot Shield and Baton. If this costume is in your future check out the CRL here: https://crls.501st.com/fisd/imperial-armored-commando-the-mandalorian, and make sure to have a look at the build section of the forums as there's some amazing work documented in there. We're coming in to the end of the term pretty hot but there still some merch drops to come, so make sure you check out the update from the DMBO below. We've also seen a lot of you earning new trooping awards for getting out there with your FISD costumes. If you've not seen this before check below and get your troop log started. If you've been around for a while but not started feel free to back date to get your self started. With Unquestioned Loyalty Chris Pearson TK-10991 "themaninthesuitcase" Detachment Leader Greetings Troopers Our DL Chris has been working diligently on getting New to legion (NTL) CRL's up and running, however there is a bottleneck at the LMO end. We are not the only Det trying to get CRL's green lit for members, so there is a backlog currently. We appreciate everyone's patience while the CRL platform changeover took place, and now for the additions of more costumes. The IAC CRL has just had a minor update, now with the inclusion of the Riot Shield and baton, please do check it out. Catch you on the forums With Unquestioned Loyalty Andrew Franke TK-11469 "Sly11" Executive Officer Greetings and Salutations Troopers! The holidays are around the corner, and this trooper is gearing up for several Holiday parades. With that said, we have new merch getting ready to go on sale! More on that in a minute. But First... Old Business "FISD EIB Coins" I still have 2 EI coins in our Stepping Out Trooper style. The next EI coin will more than likely be whatever design we do for our 20th Anniversary, so if you are eligible to order an EI coin, and you don't want to wait until 2026, or you prefer not to have an Anniversary coin, please look into it. In order to buy one, you have to have an approved EI costume and you can not have ever bought an EIB coin from any pervious runs. EIB coins are a once and done coin. If you have this one and would prefer one of the older versions, I may have an option for you so please dm me. EIB v11 coin run is still open Pin Run The interest thread for the pin run for Expert Infantry, Centurion and Attaché is still up. You can find more information here. Flag and Banner Run The Flag has been put on the backburner, but the Banner submissions were all amazing. Staff conferred and voted. Congratulations to Trooper @iceknyght With a few changes, we will be submitting the winning design to Legion/LFL for approval, so more to come! Details of the contest can be found here. NEW BUSINESS Helmet Bag Interest Thread So the interest turned out to be fairly good. And while I can't currently offer a FOTK version, I did make sure that the FOTK helmet will fit in the bag. We went there several versions of the bag and with the assistance of @revlimiter and our Vendor and I have submitted the Helmet bag for LMBO approval. I capped the run at 500 bags, but we did request LFL approval, so if it exceeds that number I can request additional units. The final cost of the bag is going to be a bit higher then anticipated due to some changes we made in material, but I believe the are still pretty affordable at roughly $28 USD. I still plan to do the drop shipping to the regions, as long as I still have volunteers. The run thread will be posted once the bag has been approved by LFL, so keep an out on the forum, FB group and Discord. As always, questions, comments, thoughts, suggestions, please feel free to reach out! Always be on the lookout. Danger looms around every Jawa. Interestingly if you look back through previous totals, Stormtroopers equated to over 20% which shows a decline in our ranks. LFL Retail Moratorium Lift For most of the year we are under an embargo from LFL and can not attend retail locations unless prior approval has been given by them. At certain times of the year this embargo is lifted, generally around Blu-Ray / movie releases, May 4th and Force Friday, the recent correspondence from LFL outlines the lift of the embargo: Lucasfilm has informed LEC that the retail moratorium is being lifted December 1 to 31. During this time, fan groups can appear in costume at retailers that sell Star Wars merchandise. All fans, costumed or otherwise, can participate with venues of their choice during this window of time with the restriction that costumed appearances must not be used in the advertising of the event or retail location. Although these appearances will be treated like open invitations, we leave it to the fan groups to independently organize around these events as they see fit. Lucasfilm will not need to approve or coordinate these. Please note that retail locations should not include restaurants, bars, or venues with no apparent reason to feature Star Wars characters. Costumed fans should not pose with merchandise or use the appearance to promote a specific product. In the coming weeks, we may send out a list of ‘preferred’ retailers from certain regions who would welcome fans to participate at their venues within these event windows, but you are all still welcome to make plans with appropriate retailers or venue hosts of your choice regardless of whether or not they appear on the list. *REMEMBER* Always follow your garrison/squad/outpost guidelines when in comes to organizing Disney/LFL promotional troops, only command staff should deal directly with LFL. While our Expect Infantry and Centurion programs get most of the attention, FISD staff wants to relaunch the Armorer Program (Currently called the Master Armorer Program). What is the Armorer Program you ask? Well, it is a program designed to recognize those troopers that go above and beyond to assist themselves and others in getting costumes built, submitted, and approved. One of the goals of all the detachments in the 501st Legion is to help members build and submit costumes that meet and hopefully exceed the minimum requirements of the Legion’s CRLs. Currently the Master Armorer program has the requirement of helping a minimum of 5 members achieve Expert Infantry status. The member must have spent at least 30min physically helping another member with cutting, gluing, sizing, etc, just because they want to help (no money exchanged). There are 3 levels of the award, FISD Armorer, FISD Senior Armorer and FISD Master Armorer. The new program will add a 4th level at the beginning called the Apprentice Armorer. The point scale will be as follows. 5 points - Apprentice Armorer 10 points - Armorer 20 points - Senior Armorer 30 points - Master Armorer If you love building armorer and love helping fellow members get their costumes built, then this is the program you’ve been searching for. We look forward to awarding more members with this award as we know how much we all love Troopers helping Troopers. More information can be found here Armorer Rocker Patches Rocker patches are now available for the Armorer Program, there is currently just the one patch, and members are eligible to receive two of them once they reach Level 2, "Armorer". More information can be found here Want to setup a "Fire Team? the Fire Team program is completely optional, and is intended to help form a common identity and spirit of camaraderie among 501st Legion Stormtroopers in the same geographic area/garrison that troop together. Fire Teams are not officially recognized by the 501st Legion nor the FISD, although they will be able to access a Fire Team sub-forum on the detachment website. You can find more information here. These programs were designed for those who choose to take their armor above and beyond the minimum requirements for basic 501st Legion approval. It gives you the chance to show a level of dedication and pride that takes your armor closer to being as "screen accurate" as possible, without as much extra work as you may realize! You can find more information on the programs here. For those unaware it is possible to achieve extra awards at Expert Infantry for each additional version costume you have approved, additional awards are not issued with another Expert Infantry number (you are only issued 1 Expert Infantry number) but you will see a star above the award on your profile and the thread title will show [APPROVED] 2nd, [APPROVED] 3rd, [APPROVED] 4th and so on. Multiple EIB award recipients and info here NOTE If you are approved with a "2nd Version" of a particular costume that you are already approved with you do not receive an additional award, there is only 1 award issued for each costume version ie: only 1 x Hero, 1 x Stunt, 1 x HWT, 1 x ESB, 1 x TFA and so on. If you have a second/additional version costume approved you will see "2nd Version" and [APPROVED] added to the thread title, no additional profile stars (more info on profile awards here) For those of you who have a particular issue (or issues) before or after submitting for Expert Infantry / Centurion level approval, in order to get you an answer faster you can now privately contact the entire Deployment Officer team at one time! Questions about fitting, repairs, CRL standards/requirements or anything pertaining to reaching Levels 2 and 3 are not only welcomed, but encouraged. Keep in mind that no question is too small, and that your queries will only be seen by the D.O. Staff. We are here to help in any way we can, so please feel free to send us a message by clicking on this link: @Deployment Officer Team and we will get back to you A.S.A.P.! More info here This area lists all those who have gone above and beyond basic approval toward screen accuracy and obtained EIB or Centurion or both. 18. I would reach out to your GML (garrison membership liaison) for comment before you begin, the 3D files are very crisp on some of the edges, like teeth and traps, we see this more on the ROKT helmets, being based on a vac formed production they should be more rounded. Examples

  20. Sorry to hear you will be selling, you are welcome to reference me, and it was my pleasure, "troopers helping troopers". A nice set of photos is pretty much all you need. One down side is with ATA's passing there is no chance of replacement items so that may be a stickler for some, others won't be bothered. Pricing has to be realistic, close to what it first cost is pretty standard, as well as any extras. Wishing you the best of luck with the sale, sorry to see it go
  21. Locally we have had some silicon wrist bands made, printed is "501st legion" and "Bad Guys Doing Good" good items for pretty much all ages. We purchased in bulk (from China) and was very very cheap, about 15c AUD per. Stickers we can not hand out at our convention center due to their no sticker policy, pays to check this with event hosts. I've never had cards made but a lot of members do, you can usually get FISD or Legion cards pretty much all the time, (note you do need to be an approved member to access) https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/50153-trading-card-get-yours-here/ https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=114184&hilit=cards
  22. Marc's metal blasters are a thing of beauty, one thing to be aware of is the weight, a resin blaster is quite heavy to hold for a few hours, metal would be a little heavier, but many seem to manage. Keep trooping are what most purchase these days, FYI the store is open now and closes on the 16th November.
  23. Hello and welcome aboard, here's a great thread full of helpful info Look forward to seeing a build thread from you soon
  24. Ran across this while doing some research for other Arduino code and thought I would share. Name of project: Simple Blaster OS v2 Link to project if found online: https://cchobbyfun.com/blogs/news/simple-blaster-os-v2?_pos=17&_sid=10951b994&_ss=r Github link: https://github.com/savall21/Simple-Blaster-OS Sounds: https://github.com/savall21/Simple-Blaster-OS/commit/cc3be9aa928fe0f7675a8a8df918bf19094bed67 Software: Arduino Board: Nano Components: Connections: Fire - Pin D8/SS (11) Mode Change - D3 (6) 128x32 Ammo Display. SCL - D9 (12) SDA - D10 (13) 64x32 Scope Display SCL- SCL/A5/D19 (24) SDA- SDA/A4/D18 (23) DFPlayer Mini RX - TX (1) TX - RX (2) LED Signal Pin - D11/MOSI (14) Arduino Nano Description: A simple Arduino script for a Star Wars blaster You can find out more and see other projects at https://cchobbyfun.com/ The script is designed to play blaster and stun sounds. It also run an animation display on a scope display and also an ammo counter that counts down as the fire button is pressed. The second button serves as a mode change switch modes between blaster and stun. The code is set for 50 shots. When the ammo counter reaches zero and empty sound is played with the fire button is pressed. The mode change button is pressed when the counter reaches zero and resets the counter back to 50. The code also lights a 9 segment addressable LED strip red for blaster and blue for stun. The sounds are played from a DFPLayer mini and loaded on a Micro SD card. The repository includes a set of five sounds. The default sounds are for a E-11 blaster. You can swap the files out for a different blaster. The code its setup to run on a Arduino Nano Every but it will likely run on a wide variety of Arduino boards. The code displays the ammo counter on a 128x32 OLED screen. The scope animation displays on a 64x32 OLED. Links to purchase the Arduino and screens are below. The screens can probably be substituted with any that are the appropriate size. Code: // This script is a simple Blaster OS; By default is plays a blast sound and lights red; Pressing the mode change button // switches to stun; In stun the stun sound plays and lights blue; // Ammo count starts at 50 and counts down with bars; At zero empty click plays until mode change button is pressed for reload // Sounds are read from SD card loaded in DFPLayer mini #include <Adafruit_NeoPixel.h> // DFPlayer Mini library that seems to work with all of the DFPlayer Minis #include <DFPlayerMini_Fast.h> #include <Arduino.h> #include <U8g2lib.h> #if !defined(UBRR1H) #include <SoftwareSerial.h> SoftwareSerial mySerial(2, 1);
