  1. Awesome work as usual Armando
  2. Sounds like a great opportunity Mike you lucky guy!!! Also a chance to switch the helmet like James Bond did with that Faberge egg in Octopussy
  3. Looking forward to seeing you progress this Armando!!! Nice lid!
  4. ------------
  5. Excellent pictures Mark of your armour!!! How long did it take you to complete?
  6. Looking good Mark!!! The G-36 looks well with the armour!
  7. Congratulations on your appointment Mark
  8. Cheers guys. It came assembled with the eyes cut out and trim included, and I have a set of accurate mic tips on the way from Keith I will probably make a few adjustments to the lid, but apart from it being ABS want to duplicate the SFS.
  9. Today I was lucky to receive my assembled Laws helmet in the post. Cheers Dan It is so shiny and has sharp detailing. I was curious to compare it to some of my other lids as others have stated that there are differences between other helmets. I think to a point this may be due to assembly. I do not feel my cap is as tall as others seen but the face does appear flared. I do like the flared face plate and have therefore compared it with my TE ABS which also has the flared look. I have also added my Set For Stun as comparison: Just have to find the time to paint this up and replicate it on an idealised Set For Stun, though not as quick as Rolf at doing these
  10. Nice lid, looks like a TE?
  11. Nice addition to your family Mark! And some good comparison pics!! Rolf has done a great build job!
  12. Congratulations Joe, great news!!!
  13. Extracted this from a memory foam site... "All Memory Foam turns yellow with age. This is simply memory foam's way of oxidizing. (Like a penny gets darker with age.)"
  14. I have sourced yellow 1" foam, but my quest continues for 3/4" as the 1" is just too thick.
  15. Agree, with some e-bay ears I think the only way to remove MRCE mic tips results in what is shown...
  16. I was about to say that Rolf's lids do appear different at the bottom of the faceplate. I have overlayed the TM in a transparent blue to show the difference but tried to keep the eyes and frown aligned: (Hope it is ok Rolf to show your pics)
  17. As I have the helmets in question I have just taken some comparison shots, initially to show how sharp the detail is on the TM vocoder compared to the others, but it does show all three have this bump: On of my TE lids does have the bump but it is not as prominent.
  18. Awesome Mark!!! Love the TM Hero. Would love to do a Han Hero myself someday! Can't wait to see some pics with you trooping in it!
  19. Can't really offer any advice, but Good Luck Steve!!
  20. Sweet! I'm on leave for 2 weeks so will try then
  21. Here's a 2001 GF. The ears are trimmed more, the right eye hardly has any flare and the decals are also a giveaway. I have however changed the mic tips.
  22. Glad things are going well Mike!! Good luck in the New Year
  23. If you hand paint them, you can get it screen accurate no problem (That said mine was a TE)...
  24. I have seen a few AP helmets now which people believe are GF lids, and they do look different.
  25. Excellent Jez Who knows what may turn up still in the future in a loft or garage!!
