  1. I wouldn't feel too bad brother. You did get a decent set of armor. It looks nice I'm sure. The joy it will bring to the young SW fans when you wear it will be the same as everybody else's armor. AA is a douche bag, but you didn't know it at the time. No harm, no foul. At least you got your product and are part of the club. Cheers!
  2. I'll repost it when this goes down. If I'm not already banned that is. <_<
  3. I have 3 different Helmets, a TE ANH style, TE ROTJ, and a mystery bucket of some sort. They all have a ridge or cooling line of some sort. I think they add character and realism as the screen helmets were pounded together as quickly as possible and had all kinds of bumps, lumps and lines.
  4. I don't think a video would matter to AA's blind followers. They see what they want to see regardless of the truth. Sad!
  5. Yep, Some very talented and generous members of TDH put this together for Mr. Bulloch. Here is the link to the build if anybody is interested. http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/forums/show...ssing+real+fett
  6. The TE derived armor like the TE, TE2, AP and such were molded from a set of screen used armor. They represent everything a stormtrooper isn't. They show the asymetry, cadywompusness and flaws that make the stormtrooper beautifull. They look like what you saw in the movie. The Fx is a decent fan sculpt which is more idealized, symetrical and clean. It is good for trooping as they are very durable and will stand up to moderate abuse. They do not look very screen accurate to those that know better. Most of the general public wouldn't notice the differece. I do however, and the FX looks too perfect to me.. just doesn't look like the real deal like my TE armor does.
  7. Allan, your armor looks awesome!! I still need to get over to Matt's house and strap mine up. We have both been too busy to finish. It fits you well. Hope to see you you wearing sometime soon.

I can see it now. You can replace Chuck Norris with the dark lord of the sith!
  9. Very nice helmet. Looks kinda similar to mine
  10. Looks great Joe! Mine is coming along nicely as well. Still need to find some decent white edge trim though.
  11. I figured as much. The 10 years I spent working as a car stereo installer still comes in handy.
  12. It sounds like you have the thing wired incorrectly. You have it wired as a dead short. This is why it is so hot. This is the way it should be wired. 1st Hook the positive fan wire directly to the positive terminal of the 9 volt battery. Next hook the negative wire from the fan to one side of your on/off switch. You will need to add another short piece of wire and connect it to the other side of your on/off switch. Connect this piece of wire coming from the switch to the negative terminal om the battery. You should be good. You are using the switch to break the connection between ONE of the wires only, not both. Hope this helps Also, make sure you are using a DC fan that is rated to work between 9-12 volts and not an AC fan.
  13. He has the same reputation on TDH and other forms. Crummy service/recasted products and a pedophile to boot.
  14. Lookie what I was given for my birthday. It is made from ABS has accurate machined aerators with the styrofoam chunk inside, glued on ears, decals, and bubble lenses. It is supposed to have lineage to a screen used ROTJ helmet.
