    GO SAINTS!

It's good to see the Saints go to the Superbowl...that said the Vikings needed a large amount of stickum to have secured their place Was impressed with the second half performance of Shiancoe though!
  2. Wow Paul some list there, would like to see the GF comarisons. Is Keith's lid part of Joe's lineage? My current collection: GINO V2 GINO V2 Hero TE ABS Hero TE SFS F/G TE Styrene FELTH TE HDPE ESB TE ABS ROTJ TE2 STS TE2 Move Along TM 'Badge' ESB TM HAN Hero LAWS stunt GF Hero SDS Hero SDS Stunt MR FETT TM ESB Vader SL ANH Vader
  3. I have been lucky enough to get me hands on a few lids, I will have to take an updated pic with my new additions, but this was taken last year: ---------
  4. There are always FG lids on e-bay and god knows where they originate from. The only FG lid I own is the TE SFS which I was lucky to obtain completed!
  5. Looking at the originals and from painting my own tube stripes, they appear to have been masked along the top and bottom, but I am still to be convinced all were free hand painted as the tube stripes are all similar curves, even though their individual thicknesses differ. The other side though is the speed/roughness they were painted up, and would they have spent time on making up stencils...as all differ.
  6. Cheers for the info. I will probably have to bite the bullet and get one from Morplan as would like the trooper in an action pose.
  7. Happy New Year All Just seeing what anyone uses to display their armour on? I have found it difficult to locate a decent flexible mannequin. The only option I see is from Morplan.com which offers mannequins with bendable arms (£225) or fully flexible (£285 +£28 for stand). Does anyone have any other sources without going to Prince & Co. or Illustra
  8. The photos are taken too close and don't do it any justice. That said I like The GF and would not part with mine...a nice collectors piece! Also they do seem to yellow with age.
  9. Beautiful Armando!! ps. don't get rid of it like your ANH!!!
  10. That's what I'm talking about! Great lids Mark
  11. This was the first ESB frown I did, and hope it helps...I tried to keep it like the ESB Badge helmet. People have different views but I prefer the satin black finish.
  12. As Joe mentioned, the only person I remember who claims to have them is Gino.
  13. Looking good! As mentioned that is a sharp pull, and looks so shiney!!!
  14. Yes I have the one shown. I was surprised how light it is, so may be ok for trooping?!. As mentioned you could do alot worse...
  15. I have been sorting out my SW collection, and thought I would post up pics. I will get round to showing them all eventually, but thought I would start with my TE lids first...
  16. As promised... I really need to sort some time out and get my deactivated Sterling finished, I just haven't had time to do any projects recently, bar taking some pics!
  17. I will do some comparison pics tonight with a deac Sterling unless someone beats me to it...
  18. Looking great so far Joe What finish are you going for on the black frown?
  19. Finally received my T*E ROTJ lid today, and thought I would share some pics. Have a few alterations to make, but here it is:
  20. Spending the night in with the Mrs tonight = pass out tomorrow night with the boys for a few beers Have a good night Joe!
  21. Fully agree When I needed build advice with clear pictures, Mike was there. Thanks to him for putting in the time and effort to document and photograph a lid build from start to finish!!! There are others, but to start with I'd like to highlight Mike's contributions.
