I will shortly be looking to do a build based on the 'Move along' helmet, but I am still unsure on the colour of the mesh on his hovi mic tips. In most of the pictures they look black, especially when compared next to the 'stop that ship' lid, but I can't be sure. Would appreciate any advice as would like to get the finish as accurate as possible.

You have to...Put my name down for the first run It's hard to tell looking at the pictures, but is it Matt, Satin or Gloss finish....looks like Humbrol #85 to me!!

It is quite hard to show this exactly, especially on a screen, as I can look at it directly centre on my laptop or a couple inches below centre and the colours do appear quite different. The colours on my plastic sample do appear a touch darker than supertroopers images, but that said I look at different pictures of the Brian R, and some look like #15 and others look like #14.....a nightmare ha

It is loud and very clear. I have ordered a set of hovi mic tips with speakers in also, as they can be conected too! There is a demo on the website that shows how loud the speaker it comes with is.

I only taped the top and bottom on the above, but not sure when it comes to the actual ones if to go for a full stencil or just to do what I did above and take my time with a small brush!! I have a round piece of plastic which I think is close to an accurate curve to pencil on first at the correct measurements.

I am looking to hand paint the tube stripes for my next build, and have been experimenting with shades of blues available. Being in the UK I am looking at the Humbrol range, and after much reading and advice sought I have bought four shades to compare, and thought I would post them if anyone else is interested. I have gone for: Gloss 14 - French Blue 15 - Midnight Blue 48 - Mediterranean Blue Satin 221 - Garter Blue I had to just brush them on quick this evening as had to put the kids to bed, so excuse the rough brush strokes:

Received this, and it is AWESOME You get an SD card with it containing 8 different static bursts which can be played at random after every sentence. I also purchased another SD card and downloaded the more authentic 'click' from his website. It is so easy to set up and change, and comes ready to go. I can not compare it to other voice amps out there as have never tried them, but this is a good option!!

Thermal detonator?? I'm sure only Han was wearing one.

I used trooperdecals for my first ANH build (TD) great decals, but will be painting them on my next two projects.

I am looking to replicate the Brian R helmet, and like others I am struggling to get a good photo of the right hand side of the face showing the frown. I know there are only a few shots of this helmet, but thought I might ask in case anyone had any pictures!! I realise if there are pictures out there they would be on Jez's site!!...but have to ask!!

I was lucky enough to aquire a GINO V2 Hero this week, and had to show it off!!! I have now put this with my V2 Stunt/Background lid in the house and they look great together...however I did get a proper telling off from my Mrs for getting another lid, and I am running out of excuses as to why I NEED trooper lids They are both awesome helmets and GINO has done a great job in making them! That said I have taken a few shots of the pair...

I have this on order, and just wondered if anyone has one rigged up. It does look good, and will give you my verdict when it arrives!! You can also wire in Hovi's with speakers such as Stomper's. --------
