  1. And the logo for your black compression top is showing but I think you probably knew that already. But yeah looking really good bro.
  2. That is awesome bro. I can't wait for my kid to be old enough. Hey LADIEEESSS...
  3. Not to be philisophical but to me idealized is a combination of what I like in an ANH trooper. hehe.... in my case, some wonkiness in the armour but smooth cap for example. There's no "one idealized" trooper. It is what is idealized in YOUR mind.
  4. You can use a dremel sander to get nicer more even holes. The bolts wont sit well on the barrel tip way it is right now.
  5. Seriously $100/year? I thought it would be way more. We can raise that so quick it would be a blip.
  6. Very cool ... you guys make me want to do more with my Hasbro.
  7. If we don't move to help ourselves, who else can we rely on? The value that FISD has blessed me with new and great friends is so much more than a few bucks to keep things running well. Someone should setup a Paypal donation link. I would do it as I've done it for a few websites before but I don't know the inner cogs of the detachment and how it could work with processes that exist today.
  8. You look so happy it's awesome. White elastics to tie down the ridge strap and the back plate together would help a lot with your ridge strap slipping like it did in the rear photo btw. You'd also want to work on your rear shin connections as well. You could hurt someone with the large overlap you have going. It's a great start you're almost there!
  9. Will there be an optional donation ($5, $10, $20) where users can donate to fund any costs required? I think it's a good way to spread the cost out a little througout the community. Again, totally optional for people to donate or not. Personally, for what FISD has done for me I'd be open to donating to make this work.
  10. Don't do it bro. You'll spend just as much time making a half built kit that may or may not fit ever (ie. if trimmed too much, etc.) than just building your own kit from scratch. It's doable!
  11. Should be an easy pass. But I'm not the final decision maker.
  12. LOL! Thanks I was wondering about that.
  13. +1 on that, unless he has a long body. Harness can help with it. Other than that drop the biceps a little and he's good to go I think. Is he knee ammo belt a little crooked or is it just me.
  14. LOL Andrea looked at my bum yesterday. Didn't you? I think it's a thing us FISDer look at all the time as a sign of a good build.
  15. Good on you Dday, you're doing and saying all the right things. Good luck - can't wait to see your RT!
  16. Carlos you're looking really good other than the things people already mentioned. I see EIB/Cent in your future bro.
  17. Cut less than you need, you can always cut more - you can't put more back.
  18. Sweet rivets came in today curteousy of Mr. C. Boom himself picking up a pair of the rivet sets on my behalf. Can't wait to grab it off him and get started.
  19. You don't have to score hard. ABS is surprisingly soft.
  20. You can just use an exacto knife and a metal ruler, go over the area twice, and literally snap it with your hands (or pliers for those tough areas). I use the knife from Rona, can't remember what it's called. For curvy spots, I still use the knife but some swear by lexan curver scissors (never tried). Don't be afraid to mark the line with pencil or from the inside (where no one can see) I even use a marker. You should see the inside of my armour, it's like I drew a grid with permanent markers etc. Where Wayne is coming from is that tools generally speaking are hard to control especially if you don't have some experience with them. They tend to get away from you and result in a serious mess imho... lots of ABS dust. Bad for your lungs.
  21. Looking great Jason, I'm right behind you on the build!
