  1. I basically shove everything I can into the "cheeks" and batteries in the rear. I managed to have my wired mic in there as well.
  2. Hi all, just came back from this and thought I would share some TK photos of the suit they have on display and close-ups of the ANH lid they had. Enjoy.
  3. Yeah it's the "Tantive IV Boarding Party" ... I think we easily pass the two troops requirement.
  4. I have a big head and I managed to get it through easily (take on and put on lid) with this setup (even with full armour on) -----------
  5. WOo! It was fun even though I had to leave shortly... Please everyone ignore the low thighs! I was trying a solution for a thigh belt and it didn't work (need webbing NOT elastic) .... That was fun looking forward to our next troop together "Fire Team" buddy!
  6. For 501st, I think you're good to go. I mean there's always tweaks you can do for EIB and Centurion but I think for the most of it you're easy pass for 501st. You might want to do up the chin strap though (1st picture)... hehe
  7. LOL actually that was Jenny's - found it as we cleaned out the hotel room the next day. But yeah it was a last minute fix on her flare strap.
  8. Some secret pictures have now been revealed on the cross Canadian-Bloodfin troop at GenCon with some behind the scenes shots! Getting dressed by the squire!
  9. Yeah not sure why Loctite didn't work for you Charles. You can use mine if you have a problem after. (Actually one of the Loctites I have I think is Jennys... oops)
  10. Troopin' is on my mind

  11. I think he's being influenced with the other HWTs in the Garrison.
  12. Good idea Joseph, glad to have you aboard the Tantive IV Boarding Party. Dont you love how that name plays off the words "onboarding" which is what we primarily do for Canadian Garrison now, and also "party" which is what we try to do all the time while trooping? Anyhow, it is a very wise decision to go with HWT. You get the best of both worlds as a ANH stunt and a trooper with a big GUN! I'd suggest you doing your ANH stunt first and source accessories over time.
  13. You do not want to use velcro. It'll come apart in a troop for sure.
  14. It's hot enough in the lid without adding too much stuff in it that makes it hotter, just keep that in mind. Something light and fluffy is good enough. Hope you won't be taking fastballs to the lid anytime soon!
  15. I investigated this a lot an yellow foam so far been the best trooping feel for me believe it or not.
  16. And it's okay to PM people. Most folks are more than happy to talk about armour with you.
  17. Just to be clear Charles, I think all AP chests are a little off. Mine is as well.
  18. Hey dude great work. Yeah the chest is messed up. Use the arch at the bottom to align with ab buttons. Also ou might want to round off the tips of our thighs for a more finished look. cheers bro cant wait to see the kit on the 29th
  19. For that you can get a brand new AP lid. I wouldn't be sad.
  20. I think the challenge with it is that he painted it (why if it's white ABS?). If you get your armour after from a different maker, the colour difference will be noticable. Looks like a TE/AP lid btw. But I"ll let the experienced TKs answer that.
  21. I don't know what to say, I used a titanium drill bit a rivet.
