  1. How do ou get the old one off?
  2. Mathias was suggesting I move the plate closer to my shin regardless. If he'll let me get away with not moving it I'll be happy because it's the only thing that's helping me not get the sniper plate in the thighs issue. Although I guess I could trim my thighs a little more to prevent that. Mathias - can you comment? Is a NO rivet/brads requirement for Centurion or is it just a nice-to-have?
  3. I could be wrong but the eye bump sorta makes me lean towards TE lineage? Someone with more experience comment?
  4. I just did the drop boxes and I think that the inner drop boxes for sale here are great. I mean anything would work really but I like the way the inner drop boxes look (all nice and curvy).
  5. Hi all, so I was thinking that I would take a break after I got EIB and enjoy the armour for a bit but alas, it is not my personality to do so. So I'm looking at the Centurion requirements and most require some work but this one is going to give me some trouble. Can anyone give recommendations on how to remove a riveted sniper plate, fill the hole and what paint to use so that it would meet Centurion requirements? The pictures below are how my sniper plate is stuck on right now. Thanks
  6. Looks damn good bro.
  7. Great newsletter guys keep them coming! Good point about the EIB program.
  8. This is an excellent build.
  9. As good as you're gonna get. If you get the real scopes and counter, adds significant weight to it.
  10. Ditto on both counts. If you already have the vertical elastics, you can try to shorten them. Sometimes I find that if you have too much slack or if your snap plates are too far apart even with a shortened strap, you can still get misalignment. Then you have to move the snaps closer together in combination with shorter straps. (Did that make sense?)
  11. Cool, well everything is back to normal for moi ...
  12. Definitely will be there. Am I an honorary member of the Bloodfins yet? Are you guys planning to troop the halls or just Scotty's?
  13. Glad you put it out there so concisely Paul, I've been having that low-brow discussion with some folks. Certainly a lot of variation in the Stunts in regards to that topic. Just happened that the Sandy's were exceptionally high-brow imho and some take that to mean all Stunts should be that way.
  14. Cool that you did that with your boots. You're almost there bro. Just a little more work as you had already mentioned and you're golden. Other than rotate thighs you may have to shorten the straps on them as well. They seem a little low. But make sure you have your boots and shins on before changing anything. It's all linked together. Love the TM, it sure is a nice piece of work.
  15. Could we get a closer picture of the helmet? Just looking at it, it looks strange because for example the details are very soft and what Mathias said about the eyes - too much flash left or is it the mould, hard to tell. A closer view would be good. Thanks! But I'm afraid, Mathias is right you're probably going to need to replace that lid.
  16. Well it'll technically just be me as a TK. My sister is Rebel Legion hopeful in her X-Wing. Other friends are folks that I'm trying to sway to the dark side.
  17. Compatability mode fixed it. Thanks!
  18. Thanks guys I had a lot of help. But I've learnt so much over the last two weeks working towards EIB - I'll keep learning for sure as I work towards Centurion.
  19. I can't stop working on it. So damn addictive. I have two big troops coming up though. GenCon with the Bloodfins and FanExpo. So I will be out there, don't you worry. It just sucks that my first troop will be without you! But we'll have a TON of chances to troop together. Heck maybe if there's a Celebration VII?
  20. Thanks Mathias I will work on the other pieces of advice. The weathering on the blaster was all handpainted. I think maybe I will put a tutorial up on it if enough people care about it.
  21. Yeah no problem Paul, doesn't bother me but thought you might want to know that it's happening to IE users.
