  1. If you aren't going to wear it around your neck, you have just let us all down.
  2. Did you go through PayPal? If so, file a claim through them. If he doesn't respond and make it right, they will suspend his account and that will light a fire under him.
  3. A real hardcore stormtrooper would apply for approval wearing the white loafers you have on in the picture. Just saying.
  4. At the rate they are going? I would guess August or September.
  5. I get mine at Wal-Mart in the sewing department. https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=industrial%20strength%20white%20velcro%20white
  6. Except that it is already an approved costume assigned to the Pathfinders Detachment.
  7. The correct answer to that question is, "Would you like to go somewhere and try it on?" Missed opportunity, brother.
  8. It's a hassle sometimes but if you have a machine you can't figure out how to use, take it to a sewing machine repair shop. They can show you how to get it working right and check it out to make sure all the settings are proper. I have a machine that is 45 years old. I wouldn't trade it but I did have to have it serviced before I got started.
  9. Keep in mind that timeline is an estimate. There are a lot of people who've told horror stories of how long it actually takes to get their Anovos armor versus when it is promised.
  10. Sir, that is a horrible joke. Coincidentally, I enjoy horrible jokes.
  11. I just built the Lego Hovertank. There are weapons and macrobinoculars inside. Probably a pretty good indication of the real thing.
  12. I'm 66" inches and average weight. I have AP. It seems to be made a bit smaller for shorter troopers. Plus it is a great set of armor.
  13. The nose art on the A-10 was inspired from the original art from the Flying Tiger's P-40's. But you are right, that looks more like the A-10 artwork.
  14. Well done! I was skeptical when I started reading but wow, great job.
  15. JJ did stick to the old formula. If that means old fixes for the same costume problems then so be it. I'd rather see gaffer's tape than CGI characters any day.
  16. I'm leaving for London on Tuesday. I am going to remain hopeful the shirt will find me in Maine before then. I definitely want to show it off there.
  17. I am 5'6 and mine is AP. I think that is a good all around armor that can be sized down fairly easily. You can also look into a Scout. That is what I started with. It can be sized down for us smaller folks without much in the way of trimming. Plus, we can sit, move and see, so you got that going for you, which is nice. And don't worry about the short jokes, I hear even tall troopers get that line.
  18. You want that thing anywhere near a lightbulb? Not even if my house were made of wet nomex!
  19. You might decide which costume you want then get the proper blaster. Armor selection is a big decision.
  20. Yes, it's so much less creative than the likes of Snowtrooper, Sandtrooper, Magmatrooper, Spacetrooper and the ever enigmatic Seatrooper.
  21. It's all going to depend on what their role is as to what detachment they wind up in. Either way, I love the armor.
  22. Maker of Things is a known recaster. His items are worthless and there have been multiple complaints lodged against him. You don't want to buy from him.
  23. I don't know where you are located but if it is in a hot climate, your armor will be wet a lot. The plastic holds in heat which means it will be soaked from the inside. Always make sure to wipe it down inside and out before packing it up.
